She attended Tuskegee Institute, now Tuskegee University, and furthered her studies at Meadows College in Columbus, Georgia. She is a mother, grandmother, and surrogate mother to many, as well as a dedicated worker for the Lord as a teacher and preacher of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
