He was instrumental in developing the Botanic Gardens at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology at Kumasi. Andoh later gained recognition as a leading ethnobotanist specialising in medicinal plants of Africa. In 1982 he founded the North Scale Institute, a research and educational group located in College Park, Georgia, together with with the All African Healing Arts Society.view less
