As the car door opens in front of Radio City Music Hall, flashbulbs pop from unseen cameras like lightning bugs in a dark forest. This future All-Pro quarterback stands in utter disbelief that so many people are interested in him. Sure, he's seen this before when watching television, but those were superstars whom he had held in high regard. A flash of thought that a young child is now watching him on the television in awe races through his mind. Could they be thinking of him as on par with those superstars that he once watched on television? The humility that is an inherent part of him briskly sweeps that thought out of his mind.
Making his way to the table with a card that has his name emblazoned on it, he stops only for a moment to indulge in the pleasure of taking in this awesome surrounding. In a few short hours, he will be a professional football player. A lifelong dream that he has chased for many years is now mere hours from fruition.
Sitting at his table with family and close friends surrounding him, he swallows hard and keeps himself calm. He sees the National Football League Commissioner approaching the podium to announce the first pick of the 2012 National Football League draft. As the Commissioner prepares to read
