Bill Ross

Bill Ross' freelance career has him drawing funny pictures for many corporations and publications. He wrote and illustrated the acclaimed Hey, That's Not What the Bible Says! and Hey! That's Not What the Bible Says, Too! for Tommy Nelson. Bill also provided the illustrations for God Said It and . . . BANG! It Happened by Bruce Bickel and Stan Jantz. This is a fun, and clever way to review familiar Bible stories with children. The format is the same throughout this book. It starts with a brief page or two, retelling a Bible story and then on the next page there is something stated that is so very obviously incorrect that it gets the child(ren) laughing and encourages them to holler out, "Hey that's not what the Bible says!" This is then followed by a brief explanation of what it really should have said. To carry the truth even further, the last few pages of the book includes each story retold from the Bible, uninterrupted, in more detail. The stories include: Creation, Abraham and Sarah, Joseph and his brothers, Manna in the desert, the Ten Commandments, Gideon, Mary and Baby Jesus, Young Jesus in the Temple, The Lord's Supper and Saul's Conversion.
