About this ebook

For the millions who have enjoyed Proof of HeavenHeaven is Real, To Heaven and Back, and Getting to Heaven, Testimony of Light  is about life after death—and the amazing story of a friendship that endured beyond the veil—published for the first time in the United States.

Frances Banks died, as she had lived, fully aware of what she was experiencing and where she hoped to go. She was an Anglican nun for 25 years and for much of that time, the principal of the Teachers' Training College in Grahamstown, South Africa.  She was the author of many psychological book. Her last book was Frontiers of Revelation, an account of research into psychic and mystical phenomena.

Her friend Helen Greaves was by her side as she finally lapsed into unconsciousness. Then, one evening some three weeks after Frances's death, Helen sensed her presence. This extraordinary encounter marked the beginning of contact between them from both sides of the veil—between life as we know it and life on "the other side."

Testimony of Light is based on these communications that Helen received telepathically from Frances. The writings have been authenticated by those who knew them both and who were familiar with their individual writing styles. Moving and inspiring, this classic book is a testament to the enduring power of their friendship, and offers an important message to us all—that the death of the body is but a gentle passing to a much freer and fuller life.

Like many people that have lost loved ones to death, I have become fascinated with the afterlife. The idea of humanity still existing once the soul has left the body seems almost magical. A possibility that has yet to be validated. Do people still exist after they have died? Can people truly come back and communicate to loved ones on some level to let them know they are alright? Is there a heaven and a hell or are most people just going to purgatory? If the afterlife is as good as near death experiencers say than perhaps we are actually in a form of hell and the real life starts when we die? This book covers several of these questions. It is about a woman named Helen that receives communication from a dear friend named Frances Banks. A godly woman that has been dead for quite some time. Her friend comes back to describe her experience of death and what the afterlife is like. She gives Helen encounter after encounter of new information that describes the inner levels of heaven. The afterlife is not an ending, but a new beginning for all. It is something that should be not feared, but celebrated. I first must say that I liked the concept of the book, but had a hard time believing in its authenticity. I believe the author felt what she was writing was the truth, but I also believe that most of it was a fabrication of her imagination. I had a hard time staying interested in the story and found myself putting it down. I really wanted to believe some of the things the author brought to attention, but their was just too much detail for me to take it seriously. I secondly must say I think Helen was a good friend to Frances Banks and loved her dearly. I believe in her sadness she created some of this too ease her pain. I therefore consider this a book of fiction and would recommend that people read it for what it is, a story about friendship that went beyond death. I honestly cannot recommend this book. It was incredibly slow for me and dragged on in many places. If you are a die hard fan of heaven, near death experiences, and the afterlife than this book might interest you.
