    Dedication

To Troy, the most supportive man a chick could ask for. Thanks for showing me a different way, always being there to catch me when I slip, strong enough to pick me up when I fall and for always being willing to stop and pick up a notebook when my thoughts overwhelm me! This BIG 5 Guide is a testament to our history, and motivation for women everywhere to write it down and to live the dream!

Push through, Push through, Push through, that is my mantra for today. We all burn the candle at both ends, have times when we feel that we can't go on, but like my friend Latisha H. says, you can't sleep on women! We are all powerful, and multi-faceted! We are above all else determined and committed to being victorious! Push through ladies and get it BIG!

    Foreword

Have you ever read a book that inspired and motivated you to change? Sure you have. We do change, even if briefly. Often it takes more than us reading words on paper to make changes. Making changes that will be long term require a change in our thought process. The BIG 5 Guide will help you tap into what motivates you and provides you with the tools and advice needed to make BIG changes and BIG decisions. More importantly it provides you with a process and the motivation to write your plan down in your own words, based on what is most important to you. Doing so will allow you to obtain BIG GOALS!

From a personal perspective, I know that in order to solidify your goals, you must write them down. Writing them down is a personal commitment to accomplish what you have set out to do. Written goals are often the missing link between the person who wants to accomplish things, and the person who actually makes it happen. In other words, if you want to keep it real with yourself, and you are for real about what you want to do, write it down!

Studies show that along with accountability and commitment, those who chart their path via pen are significantly more effective at completing their goals.

Because I am not the best me I would like to be, I am taking this journey with you. Next time you see me, ask for my workbook and see that I am committed to improving me!

Therefore, without further ado, get your favorite pen, and get ready to write the plan that will propel you to rock star status. If not rock star status, then at least you can be the happiest woman possible. After all Girl! You deserve it. We all do.

He knows my heart, He knows what I am capable, and He knows that I have faith... I ask that He continue to guide my steps, and bless my path so that I can in turn act in my calling to help women be better

    Introduction – Why BIG 5?

How do you eat an elephant? The right answer is one bite at a time. Change is hard, and life is even more difficult. Often we attempt to change many things in our lives at once. Doing so spreads our focus into many different areas, and does not allow us the optimum ability to have the laser-like focus needed to make the change and keep the change going.

For instance, take New Years Resolutions. Most people have no less than three or four, (and for those ambitious people like me, sometimes five or more). Keep in mind these are things that we are doing that we want to stop doing or change the way we do them. They are habits. It takes more than just a notion or a wish to change a habit. It takes dedication and effort.

    The BIG 5 is simply
