She has worked as a therapist, consultant, workshop facilitator and teacher. INTRODUCTION
Most of us are living our lives on other peoples’ terms. We struggle against both internal and external demands that appear to profoundly dictate our lives. Many times we end up feeling frustrated, overwhelmed and powerless as we grapple with our unsuccessful attempts at gaining control of our lives in the face of so many opposing variables. Nothing that we seem to try appears to be effective as we continue to find ourselves in unconstructive patterns and behaviours. Often
