Valentine and the Devil

Valentine is a guardsman in a medieval city. One of the Night Watch, that collection of misfits, drunks and thugs who walk the darkened alleys seeking other drunks and thugs.

One night on his rounds Valentine encounters a strange creature with a remarkable resemblance to the Devil. It is in chains and very, very angry.

So begins the journey of Valentine and the NightWatch; a journey which takes them to the stars, to strange planets and stranger beings. They come up against killers and violence, against treachery and murder. But the NightWatch does violence and killing very well.

Treachery - not so much.
