I'm not sure which of us moved first, but suddenly we were kissing with wild abandon, our hands all over each other. Aaron's strong hands were suddenly underneath my sweater and his thumbs slipped under the cups of my bra. Teasing my nipples while he continued to kiss me almost made me unable to breathe. My nipples became like little rocks under his thumbs and I loved the way he made me feel. We were fast losing control, but I didn't care. I wanted this and realized that I had wanted it for a long time.

I pushed myself up and away from him long enough to sit up and remove my sweater and my bra. Aaron fairly dove back on me and started to devour my breasts with his mouth and tongue. I clasped his head to me and arched my back to give him better access.

Chapter One

I followed the directions very closely because if I hadn't, I would have completely missed the turnoff to the gravel road that I was told to take. 

While gravel isn't my favorite road covering, this wasn't so bad due to the overhanging trees that sheltered it. In fact, I was pretty impressed with the way this driveway resembled an old romantic horse drawn carriage road. 

It was already taking me back in time, which is where I desperately wanted to be. 

When the cottage finally came into sight, I was even more impressed. The stone vine covered structure was like something out of a fairytale. Or at least something that Thomas Kincaid might have painted. 

At least from the outside, I couldn't have asked for a more tranquil and beautiful place to get my head back together and possibly regain my sanity. 

Well, I can't just sit here all night, I thought. 

I need to go in and have a look around. So I opened my car door and got out. 

The key was right where I had been told that it would be; in a hiding place just under a fake stone on the wall by the door. It was a pretty decent hiding place because I would never have guessed where it was had I not been given express instructions on how to discover it. 

I had no trouble unlocking the large, red wooden door as the key slid right into the lock. Even the hinges didn't creak as I pushed the door open. 

Yes, this cottage was definitely well-maintained. 

I stepped into what was a small foyer that had a coat rack on one side, two doorways off either side of the foyer, and a staircase. 

It also appeared that there was a hallway that went further back into cottage. While the foyer seemed to be a bit dark, there were some wall sconce type lamps that were worked from a light switch by the door. 

The first door I went through was on the left and appeared to be a parlor or sitting room of some sort. 

It was very cozy, furnished with overstuffed couches and chairs, and a coffee table arranged in front of a fireplace. The mantel above it was a very well cared for oak. The large bay window that looked out onto the front lawn had a cushioned window seat. 

Well, I thought, this is a great little room. 

I can see myself spending a great deal of time in here. 

Directly across the hall was another room that looked to have been turned into an office at some point. There was an antique wooden desk polished to a high sheen with a large high backed chair. On three of the walls were floor to ceiling bookshelves that were built in and filled with books of all kinds. 

This will be the perfect place for me to write, I thought. 

In fact, this is the perfect place for me to heal all the way around. 

I continued to explore the rest of the cottage and found a delightfully warm eat-in kitchen that looked out onto a beautifully maintained little garden. I walked to the back door and stepped outside onto a patio. 

As I gazed around at the garden, I suddenly gasped. 

There was a gazebo right in the center of the garden!
