Tina was beside herself with excitement as she pulled into the Motel-6 parking lot. A few moments later, door keycard in hand, she proceeded to room one twenty-two. As she had promised her friend, she instructed the desk clerk to hold another keycard for her traveling companion.

Mr. John Addams will be arriving any minute; however I need to run some errands. Can you hold his card for him? she had asked the young desk attendant, whose nametag proudly identified her as Marsha.

No problem, replied Marsha.

Great! Thank you, Tina said, as she turned towards the motel lobby door.

Tina got back into her car, pulled out of the motel parking lot, and took a left down Franklin Street where two blocks later, she circled around at the Seven-Eleven and returned towards the motel.

That should do it, Tina said aloud, Can’t be too safe. Tina felt that it was necessary for her to pretend to run those errands she had mentioned to the desk clerk.

As she sped past the motel lobby office towards the back part of the motel parking lot, Tina focused her gaze away from the lobby. A few moments later, she pulled into a parking spot that was several doors down from room one twenty-two.

She grabbed her small travel bag off the passenger seat, locked the car door, and headed towards the motel room. Mr. John Addams, she thought, wonder where he had thought that name up?

Mr. John Addams, or as Tina knew him, was NailGun76 from the SwingPartners web site. Today was the day when SweetKitty and NailGun76 were going to meet for the first time.

I hope it is not only the first time, and the first of many times, Tina thought. It had all started just two weeks before.
