Hello, Bonjour,Although I am better known as the author of the Cassie and Chloe series of Children's Adventure fantasy books, I now have two cookbooks published which are geared towards adults.I was born in the United States of America, but I have been fortunate to have been able to travel to quite a few countries and experience many wonderful sights, many of which I write about in my books.I have lived on both the East and West coasts of the United States with my beloved canine "children".My favorite place to be in New York City is inside one of the theatres on Broadway.I have a great love for film, television and stage productions, and enormous respect, admiration, and appreciation of actors and actresses.I simply adore amusement parks, ghost stories, adventure activities, traveling, dogs, the paranormal, and of course the theatre.I have enjoyed white water rafting, surfing, para-sailing, mountain climbing, and sky-diving. I even studied piloting a single engine plane while I lived in New York.Dreams are fascinating to me, and I often incorporate elements of my dreams into my stories.I hope that someday I will have the opportunity to meet Goldie Hawn, and Robert Redford.I enjoy conversations about my favorite films , books, movie stars, and television series, as well as discussions revolving around any travel destination which I have had the pleasure of visiting. Oh, I also get a kick out of horror movies - particularly the older ones, and psychological thrillers.{So, if you ever meet me in person, these are sure fire conversation starters!}I encourage you all to spend more time reading and discovering the many fascinating and incredible worlds inside the imaginations of my fellow dreamers.

CASSIE & CHLOE‟S CAPTIVATING CRYSTAL CRAWLSPACE CHRONICLES
Chapter 1 - The Adventure Begins
It was destined to become the greatest and most memorable adventure that Cassie and Chloe Mikenney would ever experience. An adventure filled with extraordinary sights, amazing activities, unusual things and places, friendly - though different people, and a pair of villains who posed a threat to two very different worlds.
The events that were about to unfold in the lives of these two sisters would remain in their memories for the rest of their lives. In a world that they never dreamed possible - happy events, frightening events, spectacular events, and life altering events, all awaited these pretty, unsuspecting young girls. The Mikenney girls' lives would never, ever be the same as they might otherwise have been had they not impulsively given in to their curiosity that fateful day.
It has been said that curiosity is a curious thing. Given the sisters background, it should not come as any surprise to anyone who knows them that these two sisters would most certainly have found themselves involved in some sort of adventure or other. For though they were still very young in terms of years, the sisters had already experienced quite a lot for girls of their tender age.
Why only recently the sisters had changed residences after their Mom and Dad decided upon a drastic change of location. Cassie and Chloe initially reacted to this change with disappointment. They did not want to leave their home town, but eventually, they were both very happy to have relocated to Bermuda.
The tropical atmosphere, friendly inhabitants, crystal clear waters, and beach activities helped to make the girls adjustment a lot easier. Besides, their parents had purchased a beautiful grand villa complete with an indoor swimming pool, a game room, and even a private movie screening room.
You see, the girls’ mother, Mrs. Carlita Denise Mikenney, was a gorgeous and famous film star. Cassie and Chloe adored their Mother. They felt she was as much fun, and as nice as she was beautiful. Carlita also did her best to be as dependable as she was a loving mom. Given her demanding schedule as an actress, this was no easy feat. Luckily, Mrs. Mikenney was an energetic as well as an artistic woman.
Chloe Karen Mikenney had inherited her mother's sparkling blue eyes and long blonde hair; whereas Cassandra Donna Mikenney had eyes of emerald green just like her father. Cassie preferred not be called by her full name Cassandra.
Steven James Mikenney, the girls’ father, earned his living selling medical supplies. In his spare time he enjoyed painting, and was actually quite a gifted artist. His wife often encouraged him to give up medical supplies and immerse himself in art work full time.
Mr. Mikenney was a handsome man of average height with wavy brown hair, and twinkling green eyes full of mischief. He was a very intelligent and patient man, but his daughters knew that deep down, he also had a goofy side.
Chloe was a lot like her mom, while Cassie took after her dad. At eleven years of age with short honey blonde hair, Cassie had already demonstrated an intelligence and bravery of a much more mature person. She was outgoing and spontaneous with a tomboyish demeanor.
Cassie's sister Chloe however, was quite the opposite. At ten years of age, Chloe was decidedly more ladylike and refined. Chloe was a very polite and organized person, yet she was somewhat shy. On occasion, she could be gullible, and she tended to worry about things more than was strictly necessary.
When the girls first arrived at their new home, their parents surprised them with a gift meant to help ease them both into a smoother transition between residences. Mr. and Mrs. Mikenney had gifted their daughters with an adorable puppy - which they christened Moondoggie - along with a cute little kitten - which they named Pierre. Moondoggie was an orange sable Pomeranian pup, and he resembled a cute little fox. Pierre was a pure white kitty with green eyes that matched Cassie's.
The girls loved their pets immensely, and oddly enough, the cat and dog got along with each other very well. This fact made it easier for the sisters to bring their pets along with them almost everywhere they went.
During the children's exploits, Moondoggie had proven himself to be an eager, lovable, empathetic and brave pup. Pierre tended to be a little more independent and lackadaisical, a persistent yet sweet cat.
It had been quite a journey for the whole Mikenney family. Chloe and Cassie had first learned of their relocating and changing residences while on a safari with their Mom and Dad. Carlita Mikenney had just finished filming an exciting adventure filled motion picture. It had been shot on location in North Africa. At the conclusion of the film shoot, the family headed to another part of Africa to enjoy an amazing African animal safari.
The family had been able to get up close to exotic animals such as zebras, rhinoceri, giraffes, lions, hippopotami, and even wildebeests.
During the safari, while the girls were enjoying themselves aloft in a hot air balloon ride over the African plains, their parents broke the news to them. They told the girls that they were selling their home in California, and they were going to buy a new and bigger home in Bermuda.
Once the safari vacation was over, the family returned to California, packed up their belongings, and said goodbye to their friends. A moving company came and loaded up all their possessions, and started them on their way to the Mikenneys' new home.
The family members then boarded an airplane which flew them over to Florida. From there they boarded a luxury cruise ship which slowly sailed them over to the exotic island which was to become their new home.
It was summer when the Mikenney family arrived, and therefore, school was not in session. The sisters spent the first couple of weeks exploring the island, and getting to know their new home. One afternoon, Mrs. Mikenney announced that she had to go away overnight on business. The girls' father was going to stay behind to care for them both.
Early the next morning, Carlita kissed the girls goodbye before departing. She admonished her daughters to do as their father said while she was away. Later that evening, Steven Mikenney entered the game room and advised his children that their mother needed him to join her the following morning.
He advised his daughters that he was going to awaken very early and meet up with his wife. He had made arrangements for the girls to be looked after by a lady who had already 'babysat' for them before. Samantha Sommeil, the 'babysitter', was an older woman who was well liked by both sisters. They often enjoyed listening to the interesting stories she shared with the girls while caring for them.
Chloe had recently started learning some French words, and so she was amused
