About this ebook
Confessional Poetry!
Travis Laurence Naught uses his life as an open book for readers to better understand their own. He uses free verse and traditional poetry combined with a cutting voice that will connect to a willing audience; willing to be honest, willing to accept emotion, willing to live life.
Stories and experiences are related from the mind of a quadriplegic wheelchair user who wants his audience to think. The poems are not about being disabled, they are about how one man deals with a variety of different circumstances. Each reader will be able to connect with the themes in their own way.
All of the individual pieces were written between September, 2011 and February, 2013. A unique editing process crafted a story that moves by using poems as its vessel. It starts with why Travis felt the need to release his second collection of poetry now rather than later, and ends with a promise for the future.
There is foul language and adult themes throughout. Consider yourself warned!
