Splot, the Floating Pink Game Show Contestant

While sipping his herbal tea in his nice herb garden filled with lush greenery…and herbs, a wise sage with a grey moustache and a brown walking stick, and who looked like he was showing his age, was busy looking at an invitation he had received from an unknown source.

'I seed, I seed,' the sage said in his usual odd dialect as he finished reading the invitation. 'It seems as though you have been invited to a game show, young Splot.'

'Where is, um, it?' the floating pink blob said to himself as he continued shuffling through a goody bag lying beside him. 'That guy told me that I won an, um, cake from the raffle, but I, um, can't find it anywhere. Definitely not 100, um, dropos well spent. I'm an, um, has-been!'

'You mean you've been had, young Splot,' the wise sage responded. 'Anyweed, you will be happy to know that the grand prize for this game show is a cake.'

'Did somebody, um, say cake'? Splot shouted with glee as he turned to face the wise sage. 'Oh, um, Sage-ittarius, can I, um, be on this game show, please?'

'Yes, indeed you can,' the wise sage responded with a smile. 'You have been invited to contend, after all.'

'Yay!' Splot shouted with joy. 'Cake, here I, um, come!'

'Wait, Splot...Oh, never mind. Looks like he's gone, now. Just one mention of cake and he's instantly motivated.'
