As most authors might claim, I was always been a natural storyteller and voracious book reader. Somehow, I also knew that some day I would sit down and write a book, which I did quite recently. When I finally sat in front of my computer monitor to do just that, the words literally came pouring out. Before very long, I had written many books in various genres. At first, my prolific writing was mainly for the pleasure and self-entertainment involved, until I discocered Smashwords and ebooks, and here I am, a published author with a long list of books to my credit. And many more to come.

Werewolf Brigade
Chapter 1
Mind if I join you?
Melissa Kemper, who was seated at a window booth overlooking Malibu Beach in a highly popular restaurant, looked up and smiled. Not at all. It being Sunday morning, the hostess warned me that I might acquire an eating partner if it got too busy. Besides, you look like you need to sit down more than I do.
She looked at the young woman for a moment before realizing that her unusually large size was not due to being overweight but because she pregnant and probably at the end of her third trimester. She got up quickly and helped her into the bench across from her.
Thanks. It's kind of embarrassing to need a helping hand even when trying to do the simplest of things.
I can imagine.
It's a pain in the ass, literally. Oh, sorry, my name's Roxanne Page.
Melissa took the offered hand and shook it. Mine's Melissa Kemper.
Yes, I know.
Melissa gave her a searching look. Then this is not a chance meeting, Mrs. Page?
Please call me Roxanne, or Roxy as everyone does. I followed you here so we could talk. I hope you don't mind it too much.
Then I'm Lisa. Intentional encounter or not, I wouldn't mind spending a bit of time with a stranger. Actually, you suddenly seem kind of familiar. Where did we meet?
We never did, but you must've seen me at your husband's funeral six months ago.
Yes, now I'm sure of it. Kind of hard not to notice you.
Being only two months pregnant at the time I was still quite svelte.
That's why I remembered you, extremely beautiful and very exotic looking, because you're the absolute opposite of me.
I don't feel that way at all, but thanks.
My pleasure.
Melissa waited for the waiter to take their order before continuing. Okay, Roxy, so how come you know who I am, and why did you follow me here from wherever you came from?
I know of you because I was Professor Kemper's student a few years back, fifteen to be exact.
Lisa grinned. You're kidding. You don't look that old.
That may be so, but fact is that I had turned thirty-five just about a year ago. About Vic, I was helplessly in love with him during the year that I took his classes, which I had told him about at the time and shamelessly offered him my body on many occasions.
And how did he react to your advances?
Melissa's asked, her expression no longer friendly.
He always rejected them, claiming you were too much of a woman for him do any straying. He did it with class, but the message was very clear that I was wasting my time.
I was worried there for a moment.
Melissa looked embarrassed. You must've been quite a temptress at that age for a man already in his mid fifties.
Guess I wasn't enough of a woman in comparison, not then nor since as we kept bumping into each other around town at least once a year. Anyway, I've never been able to find a man as desirable as Vic was, nor suitable to spend my life with.
Apparently you have or you wouldn't have gotten yourself pregnant.
Melissa said with a grin. So what happened that got you in a family way, so to speak?
A year ago, when it hit me that my biological clock was about to run out, I thought that maybe I should select a suitable but anonymous stud to have him impregnate me.
But then your original old scheme ended up working out after all, didn't it?
Melissa laughed and pointed at Roxanne's big belly. Come on, Roxanne, it was Vic who'd started your baby going, didn't he?
You sound pretty calm about it. Are you really?
Never mind my state of mind, please answer the question.
He did, but didn't know that he did.
What does that mean? Talk straight, please.
Victor never knew I'd made him impregnate me.
How is it possible? Kind of hard to miss that kind of activity, I'd think.
Not really, not when there's a full pint of two-hundred year Napoleon cognac in your system.
Melissa whistled in amazement. Yes, that'd have done it. How did it happen?
I ran into Victor one afternoon at the Santa Monica Mall. He seemed kind of remote at first, even perturbed, which is a mood I had never seen him in before. I thought it was the fact that you'd left town for a week when he told me about it, but there was something terribly eerie about him. We had dinner, which I had cooked in my apartment, and when we finished I gave Vic a snifter of cognac from the collection that my Dad had left me when he died. You know how he loved the stuff, so you shouldn't be surprised when he asked for two refills, and the potent stuff really got to him.
You mean he got drunk? I'd never seen Vic drunk in all the years that we had been together.
It must've been caused by whatever was troubling him, or a premonition of his near death. Anyway, it took three full snifters of cognac to render him unconscious, which got me real scared at first but then I checked his pulse and it seemed okay. Then, as I checked Victor out, my hand accidentally touched his crotch and I couldn't believe it when his cock shot up instantly, literally pushing my hand.
Melissa laughed. Vic was an almost ageless person, and that's the way he was to the day he died. Even at seventy-six, the slightest touch and voom, he got the biggest hardon you ever saw.
Which gave me an idea when it happened. I had just reached the peak of my fertile cycle and here was the object of my dreams ready to fertilize my egg without being able to object. For the first time in fifteen years I had Victor in my control and I wasn't about to let the opportunity be wasted.
As much as I hate to admit it, I guess I would've done exactly as you did had I been in your place. How did you accomplish it?
I led him to the couch and pulled down his pants. Elated to see his hardon still there and vibrating in readiness, I straddled him and let the ecstasy of feeling him inside me take over. Aside from what I wanted from him at that specific moment, making love with Vic was the most exciting sex I had ever had as, for the next hour, he came four times in succession. I had just finished washing and dressing a moment before he woke up and apologized for having dropped off. Ten minutes later, he was gone.
And when your next period was supposed to appear, it didn't?
Correct.
Melissa looked thoughtful for a moment. But why tell me about it?
Roxanne gave her a bemused smile. If you think I'm going try blackmailing you, you're on the wrong track. I've got plenty of money to live on for at least five years if need be.
Okay, the thought that you might had occurred to me, for which I apologize.
Roxanne shrugged. I would've been just as suspicious of you had the situation been reversed, so no hard feelings. But other than your suspicion, can you think of any reason why I came to see and tell you about who had fathered my child?
Melissa thought a moment before answering in an emotion-filled voice. You seem all alone in the world and, strangely, I'm suddenly pretty sure that your story is true and I feel that I wouldn't mind taking care of your baby when it comes along. Is that why you came to see me, so you'd have someone by your side when the your baby is born? Did you think that I would be the perfect candidate since Vic had loved me so much?
Tears started running down Roxanne's cheeks. It wasn't my reason for coming to you, but now that you brought it up I think it was stupid not to think about it. Yes, Lisa, I want and need your help.
Then that's settled. But if that's not the reason you came to see me, what is?
Roxanne struggled with her answer for a moment. Let me ask you a question that might seem terribly crazy, but I'd like you to answer it anyway.
Sure, let's give it a try.
Tell me, how would you feel if you woke up one morning and discovered that your breasts were gone and that you had a cock where your vagina is supposed to be.
Frightening idea. I'd probably go stark, raving mad.
Why?
Because I was born and lived as a woman for so many years that the concept of being a man would completely unhinge my mind.
Roxanne gulped as she said. It didn't unhinge mine when the reverse had happened to me. The fact is that I used to be a man.
Makes no sense after you just finished telling me that you've been in love with Vic all these years, and that you finally managed to have him screw you albeit unknowingly. So who were you really, and when did it happen that you suddenly turned into a woman?
Seven months ago, when I woke up to discover that I was no longer a man. And worse, that there was a baby getting ready to come out of my body through the opening between my legs and that I possessed two hugely swollen breasts on chest.
Did that happen around the time of Vic's death?
Yes. The morning after his death.
Then I'd say it must be connected to it. It's a fact that pregnancy wreaks havoc on a woman's hormonal balance.
You think my pregnancy has turned me into schizophrenic nut?
Having just met you, and not being a psychiatrist, I wouldn't know about that. But I think you better see one as soon as possible.
Roxanne gave her a pleading look. Please assume for a while longer that I'm a sane and rational person.
Melissa thought for a moment. Okay, so you're convinced that you used to be a man in a previous life?
It's a matter of absolute certainty that I had been born a man.
You don't just think you were a man in general, but a specific male person?
Not claiming. Was.
Roxanne exclaimed emphatically.
Who were you, then?
My name was Victor Kemper.
I've had enough of this bullshit.
Melissa stood up suddenly, threw down a bill to cover their check and tip, and ran out of the restaurant.
Chapter 2
Roxanne chased after Melissa as best she could, literally waddling until she caught up to her as she was about to open her car door and grabbed her arm. Please, please Lisa. I know what a bombshell I just dropped on you, but you've got to give me a few more minutes.
Melissa gave her a cold look. So you can concoct more preposterous claims?
You'll never know for sure unless you listen to me a while longer. There's no doubt in my mind that five minutes from now, once you sped away, you're going to regret not having given me a chance to prove my seemingly insane allegation.
Melissa hesitated, then shrugged. Okay, I guess you're right. Where shall we go?
How about if we just sat in your car and talked?
Fine, but you must promise to get out the moment I ask you to leave.
Deal.
Roxanne extended her hand to Lisa, who ignored it and opened the car door instead. Get in.
Sure.
Roxanne sat in the passenger seat and, after a moment in which neither spoke, she reached into the glove compartment and pulled out a leather cigar case. She lit one up with a gold lighter after snipping the tip with gold clippers which she took out of a side pocket in the case.
How did you know about the cigar case?
Melissa asked with a shaken voice after watching Roxanne going through the familiar ritual, which she had seen her husband go through thousands of times.
Because of who I used to be.
Not good enough. Give me proof of it and I may even believe in reincarnation.
And the fact that I know about the cigars, am an expert in trimming them, and love puffing on them just as Victor used to do isn't sufficient proof for you?
Roxanne suddenly gave Melissa an amused look and burst into laughter. "Oh shit, it was stupid of me to forgot that you're a master strategist and manipulator. You always turn outwardly cold as ice when confronted
