Lee Ann Rubsam
Lee Ann Rubsam is a Christian author, essayist, and prophetic teacher who specializes in writing about prayer and Christian character building. Her materials are used by churches, home study groups, and home schooling families throughout the world. One of Lee Ann's primary interests is to encourage intercessors in their calling and to help them reach their highest level of effectiveness in prayer. With that goal in mind, in addition to her books, she and her husband Paul present practical, hands-on intercessor workshops at their home base in Appleton, Wisconsin, and elsewhere upon request. About the Author
Introduction
Congratulations! You have given your life to Jesus, and are now a member of God's family. Most likely someone has told you that in order to grow in the Christian life, you must pray and read the Bible. That's nice, but perhaps you are thinking, I don’t have the first idea how to do either of those.
That is why you are reading this little book right now. Think of it as a Prayer and Bible Reading for Dummies kind of book.
We will try to cover the basics to get you started. Once you have begun to pray and read the Bible, the Holy Spirit Himself will be your teacher. You will find your new life of friendship with Him to be exciting, rewarding, and quite an adventure.

When, Where, and How Long Should I Pray?
There is no standard right
time to pray. Jesus sometimes got up very early in the morning to pray. At other times, He prayed during the night hours. And He prayed small prayers throughout the
