Forward
The year was 2008. My husband and I were planning our next annual Disney vacation when we realized the rising costs of travel for our family of six. There are certain goals my husband and I have in life: one is to work hard and the other is to play harder. Our dreams were becoming increasingly more difficult to achieve with the economy issues, so we decided to do some creative thinking. How could our larger family do more for less? Due to the costs of hotels, air transportation, food, etc, we were only able to afford a five day vacation per year. We wanted more out of life! Enter the mode of RV'ing!
We purchased our motor home with the purpose of having some great family trips. We wanted to travel more for less. After a great deal of research and soul searching, we came up with the option of purchasing an RV. Since then, we have visited many RV Parks, viewed amazing sights and had some incredible family moments! We loved what the RV lifestyle offered. For us it's about the freedom to choose where we want to go, not be tied down to the same cottage or time-share. It’s about bonding with our children.
We’ve designed this booklet for the Hotel on Wheels
group. This is for the family that will not only go to an RV Park and hang by the fire, but one that wants to explore the country, see new places and bond. From locations to products, we will attempt to provide as much information as we can to make your future
