Jerry Gresham loved playing basketball.

I loved watching him. So we did that almost every day: He on the court beside the Lambda Chi house and I from my dorm room in Mason Hall. Daily I would sit at my desk, overtly studying, but entranced as Jerry and his circle of pals played hoops.
