About this ebook
You are retired or free to travel. Hotels, restaurants and airfare are expensive. By renting an apartment in Chile, Poland, etc. for 3 months at a time you can afford to travel. Give up the car and the apartment or house and live abroad. Keep a UPS mailbox Stateside and no has to know that you are officially "homeless" except the Registrar of Voters. Tips on finding an apartment, what to take with you, etc.
Marjorie Shields
My "home" is a UPS mail box in Santa Barbara, CA and when I'm not renting an apartment for three months at a time in Punta del Este, Uruguay or Nelson, New Zealand I stay with family or friends in the USA. When I get too old to deal with airline travel I plan to live in a Road Trek or Pleasure Way van conversion while roaming from one national/state park to the next. It's not for everyone. You wouldn't like it if you have pets or grandkids but it works for me and it might work for you.

How To
So you are finally retired. Uncle Sam is depositing a decent figure in your checking account every month. Money that came out of each and every paycheck you received during all those years that you showed up, did your job and did it well. And maybe you have a little extra from a pension or a 401K. Not a lot, but something. You are now free to travel. No more saving up all year for that two or three week vacation. You are on permanent vacation. You love to travel. You drool over the travel section of the Sunday newspaper. In fact, that's the only reason you get the Sunday newspaper. You schedule your social life around International House Hunters on HGTV. You think about taking Spanish online or at Adult Ed. But you look at the prices for cruises and hotels and you know you can't afford to spend that kind of money. You get by, but
