About this ebook

Five-year-old Clayton Kingsley was in his backyard building a sandcastle two minutes ago. Now the sandbox is empty, so is the swing. And the gate that kept the world at bay is open...His mother Jenny, recently divorced, has left behind a controlling mother and an abusive husband, who thought more of his buddies and the bottle than being a father to his son. Now that son is missing. Is Jenny’s ex really the distraught parent he seems or is he the culprit?

I received this partial book and agreed to give it an honest review. I so need to know what happened next!! Jenny Kingsley left her abusive husband and controlling mother to live in Scottsville with her five year old son where her son could grow up in a community that was better than in the city, she even had an accounting job for Lawson Manufacturing where she coul work from home.Once she discovered her son was not playing in his sandbox, she he was playing hide and seek. It was his favorite game and he promised to never p;ay the game again until he did it again. Jenny as out of her mind with worry as she'd searched all over and still couldn't fine him, then she noticed the gate in the backyard was open and she hurried out the game to look down the street to see if he was there

Missing Clayton is about a child abduction and the related trauma.I had a sort of love/hate relationship with this one as it was just too realistically horrible and painful experiencing so much through the mother's and the son's eyes. However, this does show how well written the book is.Overall, it is a very vivid, fast past ride!
