- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I’m grateful to Samuel for writing this book. I’ve been worried for a long time that the story of our generation and the wars we were sacrificed to was never going to be written. A precious jewel of a book. Thank you again, Samuel.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It's a true story that anyone would find really interesting and very inspiring. This story defines what a 'hero' really is and what you can achieve in your life - any life - through determination, focus and sheer will to be the best at what you do. You get an interesting and very exciting read that really pulls you along fast. It stays with you and makes you think about your own life and are you making the best of it. This is a great book that reminds us that real happiness is as simple as helping others. It is a tribute to the heroism of the U.S. military and a reminder of the sacrifices made to protect our country and way of life. The story is an inspiration to live one's life to the fullest as a person of good character. The book is well written and the story is nothing short of amazing and heartbreaking. This is a must read, particularly for anyone who knows someone in the military.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The most honest look at the trials and tribulations facing modern males I have read. Heartbreakingly sad and excruciatingly funny all at once. Everyone should read this book and learn what it means to be a 20 something year old man in 21st century America. Oh and its a great war story too.
