About this ebook
Ever had a really tough time of things and just wish you had someone special in your life you could rely on?
Ben’s father has just passed away and his entire family needs him to be strong for them. If only Ben had someone who could be strong for him.
Kurt is determined to be that someone. He’s never met Ben, but he knows from chatting with him online that he likes him enough to turn up on his doorstep offering moral support.
Kurt’s presence is a blessing. He’s kind, helpful, and devilishly attractive. Just what Ben needs to take his mind off things—especially when it comes to the hot sex. But can an attraction that springs to life when one partner is emotionally vulnerable be about something more?

Morgan is a woman of many hats, both of the physical and the metaphorical kind. She juggles being a writer—there are several titles and genres to check out; a reader—seriously it’s an addiction; a mother—yay for playing Lego; a self-employed businesswoman—a bit of this and a bit of that, normally third sector related—and a Yorkshire pudding and coffee consumer. She is always happy to say “hello” to readers, although is most reachable during UK contact hours being a Brit.

Chapter One
Kurt packed his travel case as economically and neatly as possible. He’d been taught to fold clothes from an early age, and some habits were hard to break.
However, trying to get all the clothes he would need in the size of case allowed as carry-onluggagewas like playing with one of those puzzles that people traditionally bought as Christmas gifts, the ones designed for the man who already had everything. Kurt had a couple sitting on a shelf somewhere. He didn’t even mind fiddling with them occasionally, but right now it was endlessly frustrating, rotating through all the combinations of placements to find the right one.
He actually had to focuson the task at hand to ensure he goteverythingin, socks and briefs in particular—he would hate to find himself short of those. At the same time, he needed to make sure there was room for his suit and some more casual alternatives. Some degree of choice was essential. Looking his best was born of both a matter of pride and a desire to impress.
The suit he would need in case Ben wanted him to attend the funeral. As for the right casual clothes, it was important to him that he created the right first impression, not just when meeting Ben’s family for the first time, but also when meeting Ben for the first time.
Turning up unannounced at Ben’s door certainly wasn’t going to be the first meeting Kurt had imagined. Ever since Kurt had met
Ben online a few weeks ago, his imagination had been running riot with fantasies of a romantic weekend, including visiting touristy attractions, fine dining, and a hotel room with a double bed that might be put to good use.
But if Ben needed him in any small way, Kurt wanted to be there for him. And Kurt suspected Ben might need him now.
When Ben had e-mailed to say he was going to be quiet for some time and not available to chat since his dad was seriously ill in hospital, Kurt had offered his sympathies and tried to convince Ben that if he needed anything he could and should call. When Ben messaged a day or two later to say his dad had passed away, Kurt got straight online to book a flight to England.
Kurt guessed if he’d asked Ben if he would want him there, Ben would say no out of politeness. After all, who asked someone they hadn’t met to go with them to a funeral? If their situations were reversed, Kurt certainly wouldn’t ask it of Ben, but his mind might just stray to how nice it would be to have someone to rely on, someone there just to support
