About this ebook
This book of short poems is about finding a release from sadness. It starts out about facing depression and madness but ends in finding your nepenthe or your release from sorrow. This is the authors second published work. The author tried to convey that we are not alone in our battles. That everyone has their own demons but that doesn't mean all is lost. We can still fight our demons and find our happiness even though it is something we will always struggle with. It is something worth fighting for.

Screaming Demon
Can you feel it there?
There in the back
Crowding your mind
Creeping slowly forward
Can you feel it?
Feel the monster
Its claws slowly sinking in
Taking over
Are you still there?
Are you still fighting?
Are you even trying?
Can you hear me?
Please keep fighting
Please keep trying
Please hear my call
Can you do that?
This demon is not unstoppable
These little battles aren’t the war
The war is what must be won
And honey you can win
This demon isn’t smarter
Isn’t more powerful
It’s equal
It’s the same as you
Can you hear the demon scream?
It screams over your own
It knows you can win
Don’t let the noise distract you
Don’t you see darling you aren’t alone
Can you see the people who care for you?
I know you have trouble feeling them
But, I know you can see them
I know the battles are never over
And the war is
