Matt Sorensen is a pseudonym. It's taken from my Danish grandfather's first name (Matthias) and my grandmother's maiden name (Sorensen). They were proud, hardworking immigrants like the ones talked about in chapter 5 of my book "In the Bowl of Night." I was born in 1933 and served in the Navy during the Korean War. I write technical articles under my real name, Paul Honore', and fiction under my pseudonym. People ask me. "Why?" It's explained in my Smashwords interview.

Scow Truck was written as a classroom exercise in radio production for a media course I once taught in California. Since publishing it in 8-1/2 x 11 script format for classroom use, I have received numerous requests for an e-book version. Here is the first episode for your enjoyment.

Forget television and preconceived images forced on the viewer. Pretend you're staring at the glowing dial of an ancient Atwater Kent radio. Let your imagination form your own idea of the characters and their environs. And may the farce be with you!
