Was surprised that this book actually talks about the months of the years, each poetic line describing an aspect of that month, and how much more the speaker loves the child.The illustrations and sentimentality reminded me of Munsch's "Love You Forever" and I still think I'd lean that book of the two, but this is still a book with lovely illustrations and would make a good gift for a child or mother-to-be.
