Chapter One

A little introduction of myself, Lucas Rose

My name is Lucas Rose and I am a 22 year old florist. I know right? Yes, before you ask, I am gay. Although, I am not a florist because it is my chosen profession. I am a florist because my parents own White Rose Creations, and they’ve given me and my twin brother Jonah the privilege of working there while going to college. It was a deal they had come u with- work for us, we’ll pay for your college. Sounds great, right? Well, it isn’t so bad, except for when I’m not at work, I’m at school and when I’m not at school, I’m at work.

Another thing, is working with my brother. I know a lot of twins are usually close and pretty much dependent on each other in most things, but Jonah and I are two complete opposites.

Although we are identical, we act different and he does all he can to look different from me also. We both have light brown hair with natural blonde highlights, though mine is down to my shoulders, where I usually keep it pulled back into a ponytail, and his is cut short into a stylish faux hawk type thing.

Also, I keep my facial hair a little stubbly, barely there, a type of 5 o’clock shadow if you will… Jonah wears a stylish goatee. Pretty much, Jonah is the stylish twin, and women fall all over him everywhere he goes.

In every other way though, we are identical. Our eyes are hazel, amber honey colored and we both have bright white teeth, with one crooked incisor on the right. We are 5’10" with broad shoulders, lean waists and long lean legs. Even though we grow
