Willow Whiting
Willow Anne Whiting is earning her Creative Writing for Entertainment Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Full Sail University while driving a commercial truck over the road for Crete Carrier Corp. Willow has been writing poems since she was in grade school and now plans on writing horror and suspense screenplays along with writing full length novels. Willow is also an Army veteran who served in Iraq in 2003 and 2005. Willow has also worked overseas for KBR Inc. in Afghanistan from 2007 – 2010 and in Kuwait from 2011 – 2012 to support the military that was deployed there. Willow’s ultimate goal would be to become a professional writer.

There’s no light to see
And nothing to hear
But the constant drip, drip of something far off
Running for my life from some unseen monster
Come to me Become a part of me
The floors whisper in my head
The old bones crush under my heals
As I continue to run
Come die with me
The walls whisper to me
As hands grab a hold of me
I brush free of them and keep running
