Madeline handed the bag to her customer and said good bye to her customer before turning around to leave the register. That's when she saw her as she walked from the front office to the bathrooms near the break room. Isabelle Dixon. Isabelle was a gorgeous woman who always had a smile for everyone.

They'd been coworkers for a couple of years but they weren't friends. Madeline suspected that Isabelle didn't even know her name. She wasn't going to let that get her down though. If she wanted Isabelle to see her in a new light, which she did, she needed to do something drastic. She wanted Isabelle to look at her with love in her eyes.

Madeline, come with me to the break room. I need to grab a drink. Her coworker Mindy grabbed her arm and led her across the store towards the break room.

Sure, it wasn't like I was working anyway.

    That's the spirit!

Madeline leaned her back against the lockers as Mindy inserted some coins into the soda machine. Mindy popped the top of her soda can before glancing at Madeline. Would you like one as well?

No thanks, I'm good. I needed a break anyway. The customers are getting to me. Madeline shut her eyes and listened to the music playing overhead from the speakers. It was a top 100 pop song set to a techno beat.

Hey, Isabelle. Mindy waved to Isabelle as she entered the break room. Got any plans for the weekend?

Some of my friends from out of town are dragging me to a club this Friday night. I think it's called Divine.

Madeline opened her eyes to drink in the sight of Isabelle. She had never seen Isabelle in something other than their uniform and she imagined Isabelle would look beautiful in a dress. An idea formed in her mind. A club would be a perfect place for her to show Isabelle a new side of her. It was perfect. She reminded herself to write about it in her journal so she wouldn't forget.

Isabelle walked to the coffee maker and poured herself a cup. Well, I better get back to the office. I just came back here for some coffee. See you guys later.

Pounding music filled the air as the bartender handed Madeline another shot of vodka. She slid some bills across the counter and grabbed the shot before turning around to look at the rest of the nightclub. There were plenty of bodies gyrating on the dance floor, but not the specific body Madeline had come to Divine to see.

She tossed back the shot, the liquid burning as it slid down her throat and left the glass on the counter. The song changed and Madeline moved away from the bar towards the middle of the dance floor. Madeline swayed her body to the beat of the music as she was engulfed by the crowd.

The lyrics pounded out for everyone to 'throw their hands in the air' and Madeline did just that, along with most of the crowd. When their arms dropped, she saw Isabelle sitting in a corner booth of the club among her friends. Perfect.

Madeline pushed her way through the crowd to get to
