About this ebook

Beginning with a blurry account of a cold-blooded shooting of a couple, singled out while having dinner at an Officer’s Club, the prime suspect is apprehended hours later while apparently attempting to flee the state. With over a dozen eye-witnesses collaborating the incident, little was left in the puzzle for the military investigators to piece together; especially once it was determined the two victims were in fact the perpetrator’s wife and the man she was having an on-going affair with. After the shocking beginning of the novel, the reader in taken on a journey throughout the life and career of the characters while interlacing the technical jargon and vernacular of naval flight training and the nuances of the military lifestyle. Combined with a steamy undercurrent of lust, love, sexual fulfillment, jealousy and primordial desires of the cast of characters, the human condition of married life versus the structure and demands of military careers are juxtaposed against the strength and will of personal upbringing and ethical behavior.

Murder on The Naval Base by Bechet Kaya is a gripping thriller novel. I practically had to force myself to put it down at nights so I didn’t get sucked into that “one more chapter” zone. I thought Kaya did a fine job of developing the characters—well enough for me to care for, identify with, and sympathise with. That’s a tricky job, but I thought everything was so well done was with this book. The dialogue between characters was pretty skillfully delivered, taught and punchy in each scene. From the overall plot to technical details this book really hits the mark. Murder on The Naval Base is a page-turner with well developed characters, plot, and plausible and compelling story line. I give it the highest of recommendations.

I am the author of this book and the reason I like this novel is because when I wrote my debut novel my readers thought the book was about my biography. In that case to make sure that I have really have the talent, I wrote Murder on the naval base, totally is not my experience but immense amount of research and read biographies of famous military leaders
