      I've been babysitting for Carol and Jan for as long as I can remember, so it's never struck me as odd that a lesbian couple can have a kid. I know some folks are all down on the subject, but I say more power to them. They both have great jobs, are kind to little Spencer, and provide him with all the love he would get from a regular mother and father. The fact that he was adopted and is now being raised by two women will have no bearing on his future. In fact, he'll probably be more open minded than most kids when he hits his teenage years. For now, I'm having fun watching him grow up. He's a bundle of energy, and Carol and Jan provide me with everything I need to make sure he's stimulated.

      Those two are the coolest. They treat me like one of the family, and even take me on trips with them to help watch Spencer so they can have fun. Don't get me wrong, they don't abandon him all the time, or pawn their son off on the babysitter, it's not like that. They just trust me with him, and for that I am grateful.
