Prologue

Summer of 1985.

Epping Forest, Essex.

Megan tilted her head What do you mean Russell? We can walk back to my camp and locate your group through them. It’s safe to be there at the camp than spending the night in this shambles.

I thought you wanted to spend quality time with me-alone, his eyes narrowed. You get what I mean? he asked as he pulled her towards him and stroked her arms slowly before letting it spread across her back.

‘Utterly tempting!’ Megan closed her eyes at the thought of spending some ‘quality time’ with him! It the moonlight he looked like a sex god from another dimension. The black shirt unbuttoned to the mid-chest showed off the short curly hair. His sex appeal was irresistible to her 19 year old thrill-seeking mind. He looked so mysteriously sexy the way he stood there with his hands on his hips, tilted head and mocking grin. She felt a multitude of unfathomable waves rising and falling inside of her.

He is the kind of guy with whom she wanted to waste her virginity with. Russell is exactly the dream come true, the hunk she created in the secret corners of her mind. Every inch of her body wanted to be with him. But as she caught the glimpse of the ruins of what looked like a crooked cabin from 200BC behind him, Megan hesitated.

As he started making small circles as if to comfort her, she made up her mind to enter that cabin which was entirely in shambles. ‘It would be worth it Megan!’

He bowed his head slightly motioning her to the steps that led to the forest cabin. She placed her petite palms in his strong muscular one; he kissed her forehead passionately for a minute and led her to the steps leading to the cabin.

He ran his hands over the hinges searching for a key while his other hand was enveloped around Megan’s waist in a protective manner. Found it! he said with a grin. As he inserted the key into the door, he moved Megan between his hands and said, You are arrested. In case you back off after I open the door.

Holding her with his left hand to his front and breathing at the back of her neck, he tried to open the door. Though it wasn’t a deliberate move to seduce her, the effect was electrifying. She could imagine what the night had in store for her!

The key rattling noise stopped after a minute. When he kicked open the door, Megan felt as if she was kicked in her stomach. The eerie atmosphere was terrifying. She felt like walking into the sets of a Hollywood horror movie. They couldn’t see anything. It was pitch black inside.
