PURPOSE OF LIFE – AN INTRODUCTION
Often, most of us are so busy that we have forgotten the real purpose of our journey on earth. We are so lost in building our own universe that we shirk our real responsibilities in God’s universe. God has endowed us with special gifts. By finding, understanding, and pouring the rain of knowledge on the seeds dwelling within, one can achieve utmost happiness and joy. The real purpose of our path is achieved when we spread the gift of our knowledge to the others who are still trying to understand the true meaning of life.
Everyone who belongs to this beautiful earth is bestowed with the power of self-awakening. This power manifests our talents and abilities and takes us to a place where we can bring about a change in the lives of people around us. The power is nowhere, but it lies within us. In fact, everything, whether it is the knowledge of science or the knowledge of an instrument or a game, dwells within us. But there is a need for education to understand the superhuman power in us. Spiritual education is the highest form of education. By studying and applying this education in daily life, we can reach the cave where only flawless gold, pearls and gems lie. The famous author Eckhart Tolle rightly said, The real spiritual awakening is when something emerges from within you that is deeper than who you thought you were. So, the person is still there, but one could almost say that something more powerful shines through the person.
I am only 20 years old. A few months ago, I continuously blamed God for not making me big enough for people to understand my voice. But, at the perfect time, through the perfect words of the Bible, from a book written by John Herrick, God again kindled the vestige of hope in me to share my knowledge with others. Jeremiah, a prophet, was only 17 years old when God called him. He had a great inner turmoil about the fate of his people and he begged them to listen to him. Jeremiah tried to make the people understand that their problem was lack of belief, trust and faith in God. And when Jeremiah considered himself too young to deliver a prophetic message to the adults, he said, Then I said, ‘Alas, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, because I’m youth’.
(Jeremiah1:6). God’s reply was, Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you.
(Jeremiah1:8).
If just these few lines could enlighten me and force me to write this book, then imagine what could happen when He helps you find yourself. Wherever you are
