Do you think of brothers or sisters? One parent or two? How about grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins? Maybe you think of your dog or hamster as part of the family. Families come in all shapes and sizes. No two are exactly alike. But the one thing they all have is love.
Families aren’t always easy.
Just when you think you’ve got things figured out, something changes. Brothers and sisters get on your nerves. Parents divorce or remarry or have more kids. Grandparents get sick or move away.
SOMETIMES YOU DON’T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR FAMILY.
AT OTHER TIMES YOU CAN’T WAIT TO TELL THEM ABOUT YOUR DAY.

ASure! Just because you have more to say to your mom right now doesn’t mean you love your dad any less. It might be easier to talk about things like clothes or body changes or girlfriend troubles with your mom. She’s been through it. But you should still find ways to connect with your dad.
