A Surprise Bride in Willow's Rest - Adalyn Grace

    Chapter 1

You’ve stepped over the line, Ma.  Garrett Adams was mad, furious even.

Someone had to take the initiative.  I want grandchildren before I leave this earth.  His mom, Elisa, wasn’t backing down.

Garrett heaved a sad sigh. I told you that I won’t marry until I find someone whom I can love like I did Mirabel.

You’re being unreasonable. I’ve been communicating with her for months and she is a darling woman. Life has been difficult for her, but she’s maintained a positive attitude throughout it all.

She might be perfectly lovely, but I’m not going to marry someone sight unseen. I don’t want to marry anyone for that matter, how can I make the issue more clear?

Elisa let out an exasperated sigh.  "This is my property also. If you won’t marry her, then I’ll invite her to
