I said, are you gonna bring Winter? That's your wife's name isn't it?
said Flouse as he snatched a picture frame holding my wedding photo off the top of my almost empty in-box.
Mat Flouse was easily the most unpopular and abrasive guy in the office -- lunches and social events were scheduled specifically to land on his busy days or when he was looking after his six-year old for the weekend -- but I didn't have anyone that I was really friendly with at work so whenever I needed a break I would speak to him for a minute and then head off. Yeah, I dunno, she doesn't like that stuff and we're probably busy that night,
I told him.
Think about it, man. I'll probably bring one of the sweet chicks from the roster ready to acquiesce that night. Speaking of, I'm gonna hit the road. It's late you should get going too,
said Flouse.
I've got a lot to finish up here,
I said.
Hey man, I'm here two hours before everyone and I come in on weekends. But you still gotta get some R and R, you know?
Flouse said as he was walking away from my desk.
He didn't come in two hours before me. Did he? No, he’s a simple moron.
That moron was right about one thing though. It was late -- 7:24pm. The office was practically empty. My phone buzzed to life on my desk. In front of the lock screen wallpaper of my gorgeous wife
