Penelope turned at the door and beckoned for Peter to follow her in.

'Are you sure?' Peter asked. He'd known Penelope for several months now and they'd never so much as kissed. Shelly nodded. It had been a wonderful night. The movie had been pleasantly pleasant, the food at the late night restaurant had been surprisingly good, and Peter had been as charming as ever. The stars had aligned and if it didn't happen now, then when?
