His first novel, Empire of the Ants, was published in 1991. Through his novels, he explored other imaginary worlds and one universal theme: mankind. For instance, he took an interest in man’s reaction in the face of death in Les Thanatonautes (1994) and in what would happen if he became God (Nous, les Dieux, 2004). His novels explore different genres: the mystery novel (Le Père de nos Pères, 1998), the fantastic (L’Empire des Anges, 2000), science-fiction (Le Secret Ultime, 2001), short stories (L’Arbre des Possibles, 2002), etc.
