I took a deep breath as I pulled the catering van up outside the office building. Just five weeks in business and my niece had fucked things up big time. She’d delivered the sandwiches to the baby shower and the goodies intended for that client—complete with finger sandwiches, cupcakes in the shape of baby bottles and booties, and oh, yes, let’s not forget the large pink frosted cake topped with more baby decorations—to the business luncheon. The CEO had called me and demanded I get over to his office ASAP. So here I was literally shaking in my shoes.
