About this ebook

SAVE THOUSANDS AT THE DENTIST
Isn’t Going To Cost You Money
IT’S GOING TO PAY YOU MONEY

Written By A Seasoned Courtroom Litigator, Ted Smith

The odds that you will save a thousand, thousands, and even tens of thousands of dollars by reading this 20-chapter book are so high—you could say it’s almost a certainty.

The very first thousand you save—is ONE HUNDRED TIMES the price of this book.

Written by a seasoned courtroom litigator, Ted Smith.

All across America, dental patients are being cheated out of thousands of dollars—sometimes tens of thousands of dollars—by dishonest dentists, in dentistry only for the money, who run up patients’ bills.

Save Thousands At The Dentist was written, very effectively, for the sole purpose of saving dental patients thousands of dollars in unnecessary overcharges which the book teaches dental patients to identify and eliminate.

All of the examples are real-life patients. The dentists are real-life dentists.

Not only are these dishonest dentists unethical, most have poor skill sets as well.

They're in it only for the money and not because they love dentistry or strive for excellence.

How prevalent are these dentists? How likely are you to end up in their hands?

The answer is—quite likely. This book shows you exactly what to do to defend yourself.

When you’re sitting in this dentist’s chair, this dentist is viewing you as an ATM. They plan to make a large withdrawal from your bank account.

This dentist doesn’t care how much they lie to you to get you to pay them more money.

Their mind isn’t on the quality of the dental work they’re performing. Instead, they want you in and out fast—the least amount of time spent on your mouth for the maximum amount of money they can pressure you into forking over. They need you coming back for numerous visits and more ‘treatment’.

This dentist uses a whole litany of proven lies-that-work to get you coming back again and again for different ‘treatments’.

It is not uncommon for this dentist to go from room to room, keeping you waiting in your dental chair while they work on one or two other patients all at the same time—like musical chairs for money—except, their time is valuable because of how much money they’re grabbing from each patient— while your time, sitting and waiting in the chair while they work on other patients, is valued at nothing.

How common is this type of dentist?

Sadly, very common throughout all fifty states.

Many have learned to build a ‘fancy looking’ office as a front to make patients think this must be a good dental office. Some of the most dishonest, rip-off dentists you’ll find—work inside a ‘fancy looking’ office designed to trick you into thinking they must be ‘quality’ when nothing could be further from the truth.

Here’s a glimpse at what you’ll know after you finish reading this book and then this series.

You’ll know how to tell the difference between a dentist who is in it for the money and doesn’t care about you or the well-being of your mouth—versus—a skilled and honest dentist who charges fair prices and who does care about you and your dental health.

In this book series Save Thousands At The Dentist, real-life patients discuss their real-life experiences with real-life dentists who are incompetent crooks, dishonest scam artists, and—to put it bluntly—genuinely rotten human beings.

The dentists’ names and office locations have been fictionalized for obvious reasons, but other than that—the patients, their stories, and the dentists they’re talking about are all real-life people.

Author

Ted Smith

Ted Smith writes crime fiction inspired by true stories. Ted Smith crime fiction is inspired by actual true crime stories involving an outwardly normal-appearing psychopath who preys on an unsuspecting, vulnerable individual who ultimately ends up murdered. The victim just doesn’t see it coming. In real life, even the most intelligent individuals are regularly beguiled and end up losing their lives to cunning psychopaths. Smith is extremely selective about which true murders inspire his novels, reviewing police and district attorney statements before deciding whether a particular true murder is intriguing enough to share with his readers. Murders happen weekly by the hundreds, but only a handful are interesting enough to inspire a crime fiction worthy of reading. Throughout the story, the flashing warning signs are everywhere … though often they may be subtle … telling us that this individual is a dangerous psychopath. Most readers have no trouble detecting those flashing warnings. Unfortunately, the individual who ends up losing their life has let down their guard and is emotionally blocking the very flashing signs that the rest of us are detecting. The intended victim’s overly-trusting nature ends up costing them their life. ALSO BY TED SMITH You Were Supposed To Die

    SAVE THOUSANDS AT THE DENTIST

Isn’t Going To Cost You Money

IT’S GOING TO PAY YOU MONEY

    ––––––––

Being in it only for the money and not because they love dentistry or strive for excellence, they cause untold suffering in the mouth of YOU, their victim.

How prevalent are these dentists? How likely are you to end up in their hands?

The answer is—quite likely. This book shows you exactly what to do to defend yourself.

As their victim, you can end up with a painful dental condition that can last for years and sometimes for life. Thousands of patients do.

When you’re sitting in this dentist’s chair, this dentist is not viewing you as a human being. They’re viewing you as an ATM. They plan to make a large withdrawal from your bank account.

This dentist doesn’t care how much suffering they put you through. They don’t care how much inconvenience and pain they put you through. They don’t care how much they lie to you to get you to pay them more money.

While you’re in their chair hoping and praying that this dentist is going to be honest with you about the true extent of the real, actual dental work you need done—this dentist just sees another generic ‘mouth’ in front of them which can be ‘played’ to produce more cash for the things which really matter such as a bigger, better Mercedes to drive—more stocks and bonds and investments to accumulate—a bigger, more luxurious home to live in—you get the picture, right?

While this dentist is conjuring up how they are going to turn your mouth into their personal Vegas slot machine for a big cash payout, their mind isn’t on the quality of the dental work they’re performing.

    Chapter 2

Philadelphia. Dental clinic. ‘Excellence In Dentistry’. Known as EID.

Disgusted patients reporting extreme dissatisfaction with rip-off dental work at EID.

Excellence In Dentistry’s own Philadelphia dental patients accusing EID of fleecing patients by warning them they urgently need and must pay huge sums for elaborate dental work which, in reality, is entirely unnecessary. Also, unauthorized charging to patients’ credit cards without informing them.

Disgusted former patients accusing excellence in dentistry of regularly using lawyers and collection agencies to harass and sue patients for large sums of money the patients never agreed to pay.

Causing serious injury to patients’ teeth.

Hiring and using incompetent, inexperienced dentists to work on patients.

    Serious dental malpractice abuse.

Lying to patients as a means of defrauding them.

Repeatedly and regularly misleading and tricking patients about patients’ dental insurance coverage.

Pressuring patients into wildly-excessive and expensive ‘treatment plans’.

Trapping unsuspecting patients into binding payment upfront for very costly ‘treatment plans’.

Dental clinic owner manufacturing 5-star dentist reviews that are completely fake.

Dental insurance fraud. Submitting false claims to insurance companies for work which was never done. Double billing insurance companies and then also collecting the full amount from the patient and not reimbursing the patient.

Substandard dental work. Low, low quality dental care.

Deceptive pricing. Assuring patients they’ll get a specific low price and then demanding double and triple the price when the patient goes to pay their bill.

Making up all kinds of phony dental work which doesn’t need to be done, in order to bill insurance companies and patients.

Systemic patient abuse by incompetent, uncaring front desk personnel and assistants who have zero concern for patients’ well-being or comfort.

Using dental assistants as dentists when they have nearly no training and are strictly forbidden by law to perform the types of dental procedures which the dentist assigns them to perform on patients.

Understanding how all of this dental abuse is carried out in real-life dental offices can only be understood by reading hundreds of real-life patient accounts as set forth in this book. These accounts illustrate, in detail, how each patient became a victim of dental abuse.

Excellence In Dentistry has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau... the lowest rating due to the severity of patient complaints.

Arnell Lane—aka Arnie Lane—owner of EID—is the individual who built and who runs EID. He owns Excellence In Dentistry, P.C.—which, in turn, owns EID.

Dr. Lane owns and operates three Excellence In Dentistry dental offices in the Philadelphia area—one on the Main Line—one in downtown Philadelphia near Rittenhouse Square—and one in Lansdowne which is a pediatric dental center for children.

Dr. Arnell Lane is personally well-aware how dental patients are being treated at his Philadelphia Excellence In Dentistry clinics.

A bit of history on Arnell Shmuel Lane (age 62)...

Arnell Shmuel Lane is from the Brooklyn area of New York City. Then moved on to Philadelphia.

Starting out as a rabbi in Brooklyn but then losing his position on account of misappropriation of funds, Rabbi Lane decided he could make more money and enjoy the finer things in life by becoming a dentist.

He moved a hundred miles south to the Philadelphia area to put Brooklyn behind him.

Many of Dr. Lane’s disgusted former patients have accused him of running his EID dental clinics in ways which are quite harmful to patients.

    Manufacturing fake dentist reviews.

    Serious dental malpractice abuse.

    Extreme greed.

Fleecing patients by warning them they urgently need and must pay huge sums for elaborate dental work which was entirely unnecessary.

    Extreme overcharging.

    Substandard dental work.

Using incompetent, inexperienced dentists to work on patients.

    Dishonest dentistry.

Causing serious injury to patients’ teeth.

    Dental insurance fraud.

    Systemic patient abuse.

Lying to patients as a means of defrauding them.

Repeatedly and regularly misleading and tricking patients about patients’ dental insurance coverage.

Pressuring patients into expensive ‘treatment plans’ and trapping unsuspecting patients into binding payment upfront for hugely-expensive ‘treatment plans’.

Unauthorized charging to patients’ credit cards without informing them.

Regularly using lawyers and collection agencies to harass and sue patients for large sums of money the patients never agreed to pay.

According to former patients, Dr. Lane aggressively employs lawyers and collection agencies to hound and harass his dental patients into submission to pay bills he manufactures which patients were not expecting—sometimes sending bills out to patients 6 months and 9 months after treatment was completed to patients who believed that they had long ago already paid in full.

    Victim...

"White collar crime at its finest here!!!

Excellence In Dentistry was a mugging in the dentist office!

I hope this place shuts down.

The service was subpar and the cost was outrageous.

They overcharge for services, then tell you that your insurance will cover those services. When your insurance says no!, EID sends you a bill that is even more expensive."

    Victim...

"Dr. Lane does not possess even basic knowledge of the dental profession. I would not trust him in his capacity as a dentist.

I went for a re-cementation of a crown on an implant, and Dr. Lane himself performed the work—shocking!

Dr. Lane failed to notice that the screw on the implant was obviously and evidently broken and after a week when it fell out again, he told me that I would again be charged $240 for a second re-cementation for what he called the chair time!!!

So, not only does Dr. Arnie Lane not guarantee his work, he does not possess even basic knowledge of the dental profession and should not be practicing dentistry."
