About this ebook
"Lozan Yamolky’s vibrant love of life and her empathy with mother nature and all souls spills over in a bittersweet array of language and imagery onto the pages of “I’m No Hero”. She writes with a great depth of understanding regarding the human condition that tugs and pulls at the reader’s heartstrings and opens the mind wide to a deeper insight into both the courage and the fragility of the human spirit; its despair; its resilience; and above all its indestructible quest for freedom and respect. This debut poetry book is an honest and heartfelt glimpse into the joys and travails of refugees everywhere". ~ Candice James, Poet Laureate Emerita, New Westminster, BC;
":Lozan brings her indomitable spirit and loving heart into the creation of words, transforming them into poems. Her new book, I'm No Hero, shares the joys and sorrows of the world, mixing the beauty of poems with painful reality." ~ Ariadne Sawyer, MACC,World Poetry Canada International.

Preface
Countless facts in our life are embraced with secrecy, ambiguity, magic, beauty,
happiness and pain.
Our life's journey is, precisely in itself, a poem written by Mother Nature’s own
uniquely creative talent pouring the ink of love onto the pages of reality without
informing or telling us. If we are fortunate, we find through our consciousness
and minds the prefect description of our own unique poem we call talent.
The talent I sensed in my dear daughter Lozan, was dancing with all its poetic
spontaneity inside her soul long before she reached her teenage years. So hers is,
in my opinion, the true depiction of a talent borne of itself without any frills or
outside interference. I became certain since then that she truly was a poet long
before she, herself, knew she was a poet.
My mission at that time, when she was just a child, was very simple. I needed to
tend that poetic seed in the soil of honesty and loveliness and water it with
encouragement; embrace that poetic bloom in her ever so gently so it would grow
from a talented child into a lovely, creative young woman… Lozan the poet.
I am deeply honoured to write this introduction and I am extremely happy and
tremendously proud of her and this, her debut book of poetry.
She is my dear daughter and my dear poet… Lozan !~ Serwan Yamolky
