Why are we humans so fascinated with beliefs? Why does the battle between believers and atheists never end? Let’s get inside God’s head and visualize the world and ourselves from his/her/its perspective. In this page-turning scientific odyssey we get to explore every single biological corner of God’s consciousness.

AUTHOR’S NOTE
God is a fascinating phenomenon. In fact, it is the most fascinating phenomenon of this planet. Some people need it, some hate it, and some simply aren’t bothered. This very perception of something supernatural, has fascinated the human consciousness for ages. But till this day, despite all our unbelievable scientific achievements we are unable to shed scientific light on its existence.
I make no pretence of knowing anything about the existence or non-existence of an Almighty God. In the present book, far from the perennial question of whether God exists, I have attempted to bring the human perception of God to life in the simplest and most intelligible form. To be honest, I don’t think science will ever be able to prove whether God exists or not. But what we can do is to understand why this idea is so very close to the human heart.
The cognitive reality of God has had a deep impact over the development of the human civilization. It has made us love as well as hate. It has inspired great individuals to be greater, and on the other hand compelled a handful of people to cause events of mass destruction. Now the question is how?
How does God impact over every aspect of human life, when we don’t even have a clue about his/her/its existence? That’s exactly what you are going to read in this book through the words of that Supreme cognitive reality.
Prepare your mind, as you are about to set off on an enthralling, mystical and mesmerizing journey through the alleys of God’s mind. The road ahead, is not going to be always smooth. At times, it may get a little bumpy. Through the twisted circuitry of the divine consciousness, may the book bring you a few happy hours of suggestive thoughts and make you perceive the true nature of divinity.
PREFACE
I am the most bizarre idea of your sapiens universe. You have been ignorantly imagining, neurologically experiencing, foolishly fearing and sociologically worshipping this idea for thousands of years. Since the very first breath you took as humans, you couldn't spend a single moment without pondering the nature of my existence.
For a long time you feared me. Then eventually you learnt to tame your fears and gained firm grip over your belief in me. You the sapiens made me everything I am today. Over the course of history you have given me countless names. Some call me God or The Holy Father, while some others call me Jehovah. To some I am Allah. Some venerate me as Brahman, whereas some others prefer more overwhelming term such as The Great Cosmic Guide.
To many of you I am the embodiment of love and morality. It seems like, the very utterance of my names gives you incomprehensible bliss and also provides you emotional assistance in times of distress. On the other hand, you have used my names as moral justification to your actions of destruction. You have slaughtered your own species throughout ages in the name of The Holy War, all because you thought that I wished you to do so. It all made sense to you when you felt like I chose you to carry out my judgment. You are the smartest species on your planet, yet somehow some members of your species have managed to remain the stupidest creature of all.
With every single feat of unimaginable intelligence that you have accomplished, you have only created one more domain of human excellence for me to roll my eyes over. You have used my names as nothing but personal psychological reinforcement for every single deed. You have loved, because you thought, that is what I'd do. You have killed because you felt a gut feeling telling you to defend me. Also, you have even accepted death with a naive smile on your face, while asking me Forgive them for they do not know what they are doing
, because you thought you were chosen by me to spread the gospel of love and peace.
Even when at the age of nineteen, you were being tied to a pillar at the stake, in order to be executed by burning, you were convinced that you had carried out my command, so you asked the clergies to hold a crucifix in front of you while you burn to death.
You really are a hodge-podge of smartness and mystery all together. You say that I am mysterious, whereas the reality is, you are the most enigmatic of all creatures. It took me almost a few hundred thousand years to evolve into the form you know me today. And just for the record, I didn’t create the universe or any creature in it. In fact, I myself am born from the activity of tiny wisps of protoplasm in your brain. Even though, to most of you, I am as real as the sun, I am not the one you think I am. I cannot tell you, whether such Supreme Being does exist or not. As far as I know, your human brain does not even worry if the things you see are actually real. All that your selfish brain cares about, is whether they are useful for your survival.
The thing about me is that, the more you ponder my existence, the more mysterious I become. And based on the conclusion of such contemplation, you stick several insignificant labels on yourselves, such as believers, atheists, agnostics, spiritual and so on.
Since I live inside your very brain, I’m aware of every single secret of your conscious, sub-conscious and unconscious mind. Perceiving the actual reality is the least of your brain’s concerns. Your brain only selects a handful of cues from the external world and fills in the rest with your own fantasies and beliefs. Each of your sapiens brains generates its own perception of me in uniquely different ways. Ergo, it imposes different qualities of meaning and value on me. You see me the way your brain wants you to see me. There is no right and wrong, or fact and fiction on this matter. It is all personal.
1 STORY OF MY BIRTH
––––––––
Around 1.89 million years ago something extraordinary happened, that changed the course of mankind history forever. At that point of time your ancestral lineage reached the crossroads of evolution. Henceforth, emerged one of the most advanced early humans. They were the Homo erectus. You really owe a lot of your brilliance to them, because they did something that was and still is beyond the wildest dreams of the entire animal kingdom on planet earth. They solved one of the most important pieces of your evolutionary puzzle - the mystery of fire.
There was not a single species on your entire planet, who could thwart its instinctual fear of fire, until the arrival of Homo erectus. These early members of your family tree achieved the unthinkable. They conquered their primeval fear of fire and reached into the fascinating blaze like a true brave-heart. And, as soon as they harnessed this new power, they became superior to all other contemporary species, including the wildest ones. Suddenly everything changed. It was absolutely mesmerizing. As if your evolutionary timeline witnessed the captivating dawn of your excellence.
With the naturally selected pressure of excellence upon the erectus biology, their cranial capacity doubled from 550 to 1100 cc. I was not born yet. Possibly, I was still in a fetus form made of all your fears, ignorance and primordial childishness, floating in your neural circuitry. In fact, your sense of my mysterious existence didn’t evolve until recently, that is with the arrival of your cousin species Neanderthals. With the addition of further cortical layers, the frontal, temporal and parietal lobes of
