There is something about Vinyl that I just love. Well, there are rather a lot of things about Vinyl I love actually. Being able to hold the physical record and sleeve in your hands; being able to really appreciate the artwork that the artist most likely went to a lot of effort and time to choose/create. The crackling at the beginning of a record just before the music begins and that feeling when I am about to drop the needle on a freshly purchased EP. Just to name a few.
I really love Vinyl.
Music is easy. People aren’t easy. Music is easy.
The Vinyl player that I own isn’t particularly fancy or complicated, just a generic brand with basic speakers. A light blue chrome colour with a transparent lid to guard the records from dust or anything that might scratch and damage it. It has an on and off button and volume dial. That’s all it has and all I need.
Not one of my records have a single scratch on them, not even a tiny mark. I
