I had just gotten home from work when I thought I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I was sitting in my recliner, a book in one hand, and a glass of wine in the other. That was how I liked to spend my time after a long shift. I handled escalations for a call center, and even though it paid well, I was drinking more and more when I got home.
