A. B. Doungméné

Hi, I am Achille Bérenger Doungméné, Christian from Assemblies of God Cameroon. I have been serving God since my eighth year, first in the Roman Catholic Church as choir member and priest servant. I receive the conviction to write books for the perfecting of men, women, teens and children at twenty; that is in 1993. Even though I could start in 2000, I felt I needed God to equip me, to mature what I had learnt in the faith while at University, while serving the Lord in the Choir, in the Evangelization team, in the Leading of Adoration, in the work place and in the ordinary social life. What today? Are my writings rich enough to meet the need of my readers, to lead them to better choices and to help them live better lives? That is the question only you readers can help me assess. All my efforts is to serve you just as Jesus Christ our Lord asks us to fervently serve each other. One thing is sure; I need your critics, your corrections and your appreciations to help me serve you better. God bless you Achille

    Pervert Spirits - A. B. Doungméné

Glory be to Jesus Christ, the Light of the world!

    Time overcomes all lies

"Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

What I tell you in darkness, [that] speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, [that] preach ye upon the housetops." (Matthew 10.26-27; KJV)

    Summary

Kemegni is hassled, tortured, and confused by the ancestral spirits to the extent he doubts the pert of his faith in Christ Jesus. He has almost given up when God opens his eyes. The truth was clear and within reach; why didn’t he catch it from the beginning?

    The Story

Don’t you know? He lives with his ancestors and he drags them around, the man said.

"That is impossible! The dead are dead and have nothing in common with the living," the second man said.

"You are wrong I tell you; elders say in the village that if you do not honor your ancestors, you will bear the curse," the first man explained.

"Don’t confuse tradition and truth; the dead are really dead; everything else is just lie," the second argued.

"I assure you that you hold the wrong end; I talk every night with my ancestors and we sometimes even eat together."

"You are crazy! You are lured by delusions; come on! You have no proof of what you are uttering. Nothing proves that the people you see in your dreams are your fore parents…"

"I testify that they are! I checked it with the elders in the village and they told me I was very lucky. According to them, my frequent meeting with them in my dreams is proof that I walk in their blessings. Your ascendants will curse you if you keep on neglecting them…"

    I jumped and woke up.

In the dream from which I came up, the dialogue was startling with a disturbing language about me. "He lives with his ancestors and he drags them everywhere," were they saying!

Anxious and disquiet, I still wanted to give thanks to God as usual after my every wake up. Lord, I thank you for having granted me to see this day. You're wonderful, You're good. All your works are righteous and praiseworthy…

I could not pray for long; I felt halted, unapt to go forward.

I seized my King James Version Bible. I started going through pages and finally slew down at the Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 5, verses 23-26, which reads:

"Therefore, if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and first be reconciled to your brother; then come and present your offering.

    "Make friend quickly with your
