Lying on his stomach he thumbed the button on the flashlight in his left hand and a cone of white light illuminated the back of Shapiro’s foot. He knew he should buy stronger light bulbs, but since he’s a cheap man he didn’t.

The simulacrum stood like a statue as Simon peered closely at the tear in the plasti-skin. It seemed sim’s were always breaking down. His hazel eyes narrowed. There it is, he muttered.
