The Archangel Gabriel Has Returned To Fix His Mistake - Angel Gabriel

    A

A Christian Experience, Saam Medical Meditation

    By Dr. Evan Mahoney

    Copyright 2018

    Dear Readers and Fellow Christians,

Let me give thanks to Reverend Charles Spurgeon, Max Lucado and his book Facing Your Giants, The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, and the Bible.

Thank you Max Lucado for teaching me the secret of David and his constant relationship with God.  Rick Warren for your wonderful program that has brought home the relationship with God to me (may I keep it).

Reading Spurgeon it is impossible to believe the charge that Christians are unthinking folks. The Bible can be accepted at any level of intelligence. I was drawn to Jesus’s love and compassion as a child, later to his wisdom and judgment, later to the great truth and consistencies revealed after reading the bible several times and still learning at the churches I attend.

It was to Jesus I prayed to when I was sick and deep in the midst of a long unfolding illness. Upon his promise and grace I was saved and seem to be more so saved every day. The Word of God is awesome. I pledge to you I have not trifled with it.

    Evan Mahoney

The two greatest Acts of Judgment ever recorded are from Solomon and Christ.

1 Kings 3:16-28New International Version (NIV)

    A Wise Ruling

¹⁶ Now two prostitutes came to the king and stood before him. ¹⁷ One of them said, "Pardon me, my lord. This woman and I live in the same house, and I had a baby while she was there with me. ¹⁸ The third day after my child was born, this woman also had a baby. We were alone; there was no one in the house but the two of us.

¹⁹ During the night this woman’s son died because she lay on him.²⁰ So she got up in the middle of the night and took my son from my side while I your servant was asleep. She put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast. ²¹ The next morning, I got up to nurse my son—and he was dead! But when I looked at him closely in the morning light, I saw that it wasn’t the son I had borne.

²² The other woman said, No! The living one is my son; the dead one is yours.

But the first one insisted, No! The dead one is yours; the living one is mine. And so they argued before the king.

²³ The king said, This one says, ‘My son is alive and your son is dead,’ while that one says, ‘No! Your son is dead and mine is alive.’

²⁴ Then the king said, Bring me a sword. So they brought a sword for the king. ²⁵ He then gave an order: Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other.

²⁶ The woman whose son was alive was deeply moved out of love for her son and said to the king, Please, my lord, give her the living baby! Don’t kill him!

But the other said, Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two!

²⁷ Then the king gave his ruling: Give the living baby to the first woman. Do not kill him; she is his mother.

²⁸ When all Israel heard the verdict the king had given, they held the king in awe, because they saw that he had wisdom from God to administer justice.

    John 8:1-11New International Version (NIV)

¹ but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

² At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. ³ The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group ⁴ and said to Jesus, Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. ⁵ In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?⁶ They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. ⁷ When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her. ⁸ Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

⁹ At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. ¹⁰ Jesus straightened up and asked her, Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?

¹¹ No one, sir, she said.

"Then neither do I condemn you, Jesus declared. Go now and leave your life of sin."

    Rejoice! Rejoice! Joy in Christ

The Gift of Joy (from Master, Mystic, Meditation)

In my faith walk I have come to understand that one of the gifts of salvation offered by Jesus is Eternal Joy.  Eternal Joy is a truth which transcends life and death.  In Oriental Medicine, Joy is the emotion ascribed to the Heart.  In the acupuncture technique I practice, the Heart pertains to the second level of human needs, which is the need for loving relationships with one’s family, friends, and with God.  Being a human need, we have the right to seek and achieve loving relationships with one another and with God.

The life of Jesus is the example of Love, Compassion, and a life unblemished by sin.  Jesus provides for us the path to navigate around the obstacles and destruction associated with sin.   It is sin and the work of Satan that serves to suppress joy.  We can see this work around us as people try to tear down the blessings of our Country and Christianity.  They work to cast seeds of doubt and suppress our joy.   In order to defeat this we must be the example of Eternal Joy and manifest it in our hearts.  This may be the very thing Psalms 91 expresses.  A thousand may fall at your side,    ten thousand at your right hand,    but it will not come near you.
