Introduction
This book is going to give you an insight into that age-old phenomenon, which we know as depression today. Also, it is going to give you some knowledge about the myth behind this mental state, reasons, symptoms, and why the WHO has suppose that this particular problem is going to cause the highest statistics in mental disease, in human beings by the year 2030.
If any of the statements made here and the recounting of experiences make you feel that they are really rough and ready, rustic, drastic, cold-blooded, or make you feel depressed, well, you need to laugh and then analyze the scientific reason and rationale behind that particular psychological aspect of the statement given. There is going to be a proper rhyme, reason, and method to that particular madness.
You are also going to be surprised to know that depression is a state of mind, which can attack anybody anywhere, but people in a large number of ancient civilizations new how to cope with it, and also, melancholia was not encouraged in human beings, when it was a matter of survival of the fittest. You could not have your greatest warrior going over into a depression, during the Trojan war and retiring to his tent.
By the 18th and 19th century, the Anatomy of Melancholia written by Robert Burton in the year 1621 had already been read by a number of people and suddenly they decided that they were also suffering from melancholia. Because they showed all the symptoms! This is human nature. And with the growth of reading skills, in society, the mind decided that it would also follow the behavior patterns of people who lived 3 centuries ago, and suffered from melancholia, and thus mope around in a state of depression.

Some readers are even going to say- hey, this is one particular psychologist, who has absolutely no pity on patients suffering from depression. They have to be handed with kid gloves, because they are so sensitive, and they are suffering so much mentally and physically. So they should just be drugged, because they cannot retreated, they are mentally disturbed.
I am sorry, but this is the attitude which has caused more cases of depression to occur in mankind, during the 20th and 21st century, because doctors are encouraging it. And thanks to the side effects of the drugs, perfectly healthy children, youth, and adults sink deeper into the state of so-called depression, instead of looking for other natural ways of tackling it.
Again, I regret that the medical associations all over the world want more patients to suffer from depression so that they can keep experimenting with new patients using chemical based drug combinations. To my chagrin, psychologists, social workers, and even the general administration is promoting this particular action, in many
