    Revised Introduction

    2019 Market Update

Shift, shift, and shift again. The real estate market can be shifty! We had a serious wake-up call in June of 2018, when the hot Seattle market took a turn and slowed down considerably.

Fortunately for sellers, the market picked up speed again in January 2019, and as of this writing (May 1, 2019), the hot market has returned--but with a caveat. Buyers are being cautious about overpaying, and we have to WORK to get the top prices.

What does this mean for you, as you get ready to sell your home?

Strategy is even more important than ever. We’ve got to put in the work to get the top prices.

Absolutely, positively do NOT overprice your starting point if you want a bidding war.

Bidding wars and top prices don’t just happen. My system to engineer bidding wars still works.

    When will the next shift
