GOP’s POWER GRAB
()
About this ebook
One of the more troubling aspects covered in GOP's Power Grab, the allegation of collusion was never based in fact. In truth, the GOP controlled Houses of Congress should never have pursued collusion--at least not as their first course of action.
In reconciling the inconsistency of the SSCI (Senate Select Committed on Intelligence) engaging in collusion hearing; rather than following their mandate--of investigating the actual merit of President Obama's DNI, James Clapper, charge of Russian interference--it becomes evident the GOP'a intentions were never to discover the truth--rather it was an effort to wrest power away from President Trump.
Sadly, the "Collusion Saga" and subsequent hearings have little to do with an actual crime--and everything to do with a struggle over power.

Author’s Note
About Occam’s Razor
Occam’s Razor is predicated on a single guiding principle—relief.
By working to develop the context and insights necessary to create an informed consumer base, Occam’s Razor is focused on addressing the frustration and anxiety that has led to so much anger regarding the pressing issues of the day.
It must be emphasized: There is no desire on the part of Occam’s Razor to influence the reader with opinion. There is already more than enough such material, mostly unfounded, in the market. Furthermore, it is the feeling of the author that opinion, founded or otherwise, does not lead to lasting relief and therefore has limited value.
This has led to a different kind of product, one where topics are explored in an a-political, non-biased manner using the principles of plausibility attributed to William of Ockham (1287-1347).
Occam’s razor: Among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions is likely the right one. In other words: In the American Southwest, if one hears hoof beats—think horses, not zebras.
It is worth stating: There is rarely any certitude when dealing with current events or any issue for that matter.
In addition, there is no claim of deity-like abilities on the part of Occam’s Razor.
The author is well aware he does not possess every possible fact or infinite wisdom.
Still, by applying the principles of plausibility to known (public) facts, rather than relying on mere conjecture and opinion, a far more robust picture can be developed. It is this more robust, non-biased, picture that leads to the creation of an informed consumer.
Note: Introducing political or emotional bias into any issue/situation does not lead to good judgment, rather they create barriers to good judgment.
And, only through giving the consumer the necessary tools to make informed decisions can relief be provided.
Preface
Collusion is a three part series (First Premise, Treason, GOP’s Power Grab) that takes a hard look at the charges leveled at President Trump’s administration and his 2016 campaign regarding Russian collusion.
In typical Occam’s Razor fashion this is not a straightforward treatment.
One feature of the collusion narrative becomes immediately clear: There are three distinct agendas present. This multi-faceted aspect of Collusion creates serious challenges; mainly, how to address three distinct storylines in a single cohesive and comprehensive treatment.
Ultimately, this has led to Collusion being broken down along the lines of the separate agendas into three Ebooks; First Premise, Treason, and GOP’s Power Grab.
In part I, First Premise, the focus was on testing the assumptions associated with the liberal media’s assertion Hillary Clinton would win the 2016 election in a landslide, which soon led to a new narrative—the Election was Stolen,
when Clinton lost.
It is worth pointing out: The stolen election narrative belongs solely to the Old Guard media and represents the first agenda of Collusion.
The second agenda identified in the collusion saga is associated with the Russian interference charge and is addressed in
