So that's it, the whole story, I finished talking finally, feeling a little breathless. My parents had just sat there, across their kitchen table from me while I'd told the whole tale. I told them about that stupid dog, Tex, and how I secretly loved him because he'd led me to Juliet. I told them how I was taken at first glance, and how confusing it was for me. I'd told them that we'd made a connection that very night, omitting the sexy parts of course. I told them I'd been seeing her for months now, and that she was officially my girlfriend.
