About this ebook

There appears to be no cessation of written material relating to End Times theology generally; and to the Apocalypse, specifically. Sadly, much, if not most of it runs counter to the clear teachings of Scripture.

A misquoted verse here, and an extrapolation there: one wonders when the dust will finally settle, and a spiritually, and scripturally accurate picture will begin to emerge.

In this volume, Jack Smith explores the issues with due diligence, searching the Scriptures, and ever seeking the Guidance of the Holy Ghost with all soberness of thought and attitude.

Who (or what) is the antichrist? Who is the false prophet; and Who (or what) is the whore of Babylon? With the Bible in one hand, and a prayer for Guidance ever on his lips, Jack Smith has discovered, and here reveals, the answer to those questions.

The author is keenly aware that these Truths will not be eagerly received by the bulk of Modern Christendom. And so much the worse, as there has never been a time they are more pertinent, more relevant, and more necessary to know than in this present hour as we approach the eclipse of human history.

    Written For God’s Elect

    And For That

    Which Yet Shall Be

"These were more noble than those in

The Word with all readiness of mind,

    And searched the Scriptures daily,

    Whether these things were so."

    To the Ramparts, Brethren:

    Unto The

    Breach!!!

. . . . we should not serve sin. Therefore the true Church has no

Members but those who are the living members of the Body

Of Christ, baptized into His death, new creatures that henceforth

are no longer the servants of sin. Away then with any

Councils of Trent, or Synod of Dort, or theological

definitions of doctrine that describe the members of the

True Church in any other terms that these: Being made

    In a Better World,

That is, in a world in which the Christian Church was more attendant upon and knowable about the Holy scriptures, there would be no need for a book like this one

    For, in that happy circumstance,

Modern Christendom would recognize its own spiritual failings, its own often scornful attitude concerning the clear teachings of God’s Word, and its own lack of Scriptural insight and prophetic awareness. And then repent!

But this is Not a Better world,

But rather an evil one inhabited by a sleeping, blind, self-righteous, and deceitful contemporary church which has willfully, and willingly, cast aside its once righteous moorings.

Moreover, it has, in the Main,

Rejected almost all attempts by a few of their more enlightened congregants (and others God hath sent unto them) to expose their multiple heresies and apostasies. Also, it has with malice aforethought, branded them as legalists, Pharisees, and unloving cancers on the Body of Christ; among other epithets.

    Thus, this volume.

    The Material in This Section

of the book indicates a few of the problems, and the categories of people (prophets, teachers, evangelists, et al) who must of needs be addressing them.

A Few are, but a Few Only.

To their words I add my own, as these are inspired and initiated by the Holy Ghost.

    My hope, and my prayer,

Is that more souls will venture into the Harvest and the Battlefield, for they are sorely needed, even as our Master Stated in Matthew 9:36-38; Luke 10:1-2; John 4:34-38; et al.

For the Hedge Must Be Made Up,

And the Gap stood In, by a people who realize the lateness of the hour, and the Urgency of the Need.

May They Now Answer The Call to Action!!!

    39798.jpg            39796.jpg            39794.jpg

    Here See,

This book is not presented in an A-B-C, or strictly narrative fashion. Instead, I have chosen to provide sermons, commentary, Scriptural Analysis, poetry, and other written forms in order to offer this material in a more thorough and all-inclusive format.

In the process, I have been most repetitive, a fact for which I do not, and will not, apologize. For, if repetition is often the soul of learning—and this writer believes such to be the case—I will be more than willing to continue driving, and that most forcefully, the Truths which the Heavenly Father, through the Agency of the Holy Ghost, has delivered unto me. And that, conjunct with the Holy Scriptures.

As I have discovered, time and time again, that Holy Writ is forever flush, ripe, and replete with many similar themes. Perhaps the most significant of these, as regards God’s Family, deals with the necessary ongoing relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost: and no matter the Covenant, the time frame, or the circumstances, man is given to understand that there is a Needful Chain-of-Command, and a Necessary Association, with God at the Top and Pinnacle, And we, His servants and children, further down the ladder, Jacob’s Ladder, as it were.

It is based on Love, but also on Grace, Fidelty, and Commitment. So called Modern Christendom seems to have (conveniently) both forgotten and /or ignored that mandatory connection.

It is my hope, and continuing prayer that they awaken from slumber. Yesterday Would Not Be Too Soon!

    THE GIFT OF PROPHETIC INSIGHT

    By

    A.W. Tozer

A prophet is one who knows his times and what God is trying to say to the people of his times.

Today we need prophetic preachers; not preachers of prophecy merely, but preachers with a gift of prophecy. We need the gift of discernment again in our pulpits. It is not ability to predict that we need, but the anointed eye, the power of spiritual penetration and interpretation, the ability to appraise the religious scene as viewed from God’s position, and tell us what is actually going on.

What is needed desperately today is prophetic insight. Scholars can interpret the past; it takes prophets to interpret the present. Learning will enable a man to pass judgment on our yesterdays, but it requires a gift of clear seeing to to pass sentence on our own day. One hundred years from now historians will know what was taking place religiously in this year of our Lord; but that will be too late for us. We should know right now.

Another kind of religious leader must arise among us. He must be of the old prophet type, a man who has seen visions of God and had heard a Voice from the Throne. When he comes (and I pray God there will be not one, but many) he will stand in flat contradiction (AND OPPOSITION!) to everything our smirking, smooth civilization holds dear. He will contradict, denounce and protest in the Name of God and will earn the hatred and opposition of a large segment of Chistendom. Such a man will be lean, rugged, blunt-spoken and a little bit angry with the world. We need to have the gifts of the Spirit restored again to the church, and it is my belief that the one gift we need most now is the gift of prophecy.

    HE LOOKS, HE SEES

    (Ps. 112:4; 116:6; Jer. 30:12; 36:1-2,32; Rev. 11:3-12)

He looks, he sees; he knows not what

    Till God the scales doth thus remove;

He looks again, the Truth unfolds

He then doth see what him behooves

The thing, that is, which God doth show

    The thing, that is, God doth impart;

That impartation which he must share

That revelation from God’s Own Heart

A message, a message, to give full out

    A warning to cry, a woe foretell;

Tis not the prophet’s to ponder over

But his only duty to ring the bell

Then ring it loud, then ring it long

    Then ring yet more, both yon and thither;

Then ring till strength be fully gone

Then ring till God says: Come Up Hither

    39817.jpg            39815.jpg            39812.jpg

AND SO I WEEP; AND THUS I WRITE

There is a way thast seemeth right unto a man, but the ends thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12; 16:25)

Ever learning, and never able to come to a knowledge of the Truth (II Tim. 3:7)

Tis true they be, but true to what?

    Tis to church they often go to sing and squat;

And a sermon there do hear, which be soon forgot

But do these fully know the God Who their souls bought?

Many are honest to a fault, but know not their own plight

    Many give praises to the Lord, but know not day from night;

Many join in the Culture Wars, but eschew the Better Fight:

And so i often weep for them; and thus i write

    39824.jpg            39821.jpg            39819.jpg

    A LICENSE TO KILL:

One leads, One Follows; and Both Fall Together into the Pit!

(Mattt. 15:1-14; II tim. 3:7; et al)

    I.   THE SEMINARIES AND BIBLE COLLEGES ISSUE THEM

    a)   Certificates which qualify their holders to preach and

Teach apostasy and heresy;and to conduct church and religious business generally.

II.   SOME DENOMINATIONS, CULTS, AND INSTITUTIONS OF "HIGHER LEARNING BOTH ISSUE AND ACCEPT THEM

III.   THE CONGREGATIONS APPROVE OF THEM (II Tim. 4:3-4; II Pet. 2:1-2)

IV.   SO CALLED CHRISTIAN TELEVISION, RADIO, LITERATURE, AND

MODERN CHRISTENDOM GENERALLY ARE CONTENT WITH THEM

    V.   SOCIETIES AND CULTURES APPLAUD THEM

VI.   AND SO TOO satan, antichrist, and the false prophet

VII.   BUT GOD… . HAS A DIFFERENT PARADIGM

    a)   For He Calls, Anoints, Instructs, and prepares for service

    b)   Here see, there were a number of good men who graduated from seminaries and bible colleges in ages past, but these were always in the minority: men like Wycliffe, Tyndale, Frith, Whitefield, and others. Yet many, if not most of them, found it necessary to re-learn the Scriptures after graduation in order to understand the Spirit and Truth of God’s Word

    c)   On the other hand, the Log Cabin Bible School, begun by William Tennent, produced most of their best students (as for example, Gilbert Tennent) in its first years of operation. In all instances however, after these institutions began to be operated and overseen by men not led of the Holy Ghost, the amount of Biblical Error and apostasy grew in proportion to the amount of human intellect and scholarship, and when Scriptural Manipulation became the normative practice and pattern. Today, most are wedded to denominations, cults, false doctrines and beliefs.

    d)   And thus doth sophistry carry the day: Man is the Measure of All Things; As Things Appear to Man, So They Are.

    39832.jpg            39830.jpg            39827.jpg

    WRITE IT IN A BOOK

    ( THOUGH IT BE ILL-RECEIVED)

    (Jeremiah 30:1-2; 36:1)

    I.   JEREMIAH WROTE GOD’S MESSAGE(S) AS COMMANDED

    a)   But the king burned the pages

    b)   Then did the prophet re-write them at God’s

Command (and added many more like words!!!)

II.   WYCLIFFE AND TYNDALE TRANSLATED GOD’S WORD INTO ENGLISH

    a)   And when their books were lost or stolen, re-wrote them

III.   SEE NOW THAT OTHERS HAVE WRITTEN GOD’S TRUTH; AND OFT TO AN UNRECEPTIVE WORLD

    a)   William Law’s FIRST AND LAST BOOKS

    b)   Gilbert Tennet’s sermon, The Dangers of an Uncoverted Ministry; the writings of Thomas a Kempis, Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon in the Downgrade Controversy (1887-92).

    c)   And in the twentieth century, the writings of A.W. Tozer and Leonard Ravenhill; among others.

IV.   EVEN TODAY THERE IS SOME GOD-INSPIRED WRITING

    a)   The bi-monthly publication The Heartbeat of the Remnant out of Ephrata, PA. is an excellent example; and much welcome

    b)   There are a number of others, but the Spiritual quality of their teachings and doctrinal analysis are often of mixed value, and I hesitate therefore to recommend them

    c)   And thus I find myself forever at the typewriter or computer, transcribing my God-given messages. And that though I be contemptable.

    39838.jpg            39836.jpg            39834.jpg

FIRST DARKLY: AND THEN FACE-TO-FACE (with Truth)

    (I Cor. 13:8-12; amos 3:6-15)

    I.   FIRST IS THE MESSAGE GIVEN UNTO THE PROPHET

    a)   As with Enoch, as with Noah, as with Samuel and the Old Testament prophets, John the Baptist, the apostles (esp. Paul, Peter, and John);and all the way down the ages to Tozer and Ravenhill

    b)   Here see, although I Cor. 13:10-12 relates to incomplete knowledge here on earth as compared to the perfect knowledge in Heaven, yet it hath also an End Times/Last Days application; and that because there are prophecies and knowledge concerning this time frame of which men need to be made aware as relating to the welfare of their souls.

II.   THEN IS THE MESSAGE NECESSARILY GIVEN BY THEM, BOTH UNTO INDIVIDUALS, AND PEOPLES: AND ALSO THE CHURCHES, BOTH THE EVIL ONES; AND GOD’S ELECT, THE TRUE CHURCH

    a)   How sad to see that increase in carnal knowledge which is not accompanied by Spiritual Truth (Daniel 12:4,10; II Tim. 3:7)

    b)   And that though there is more talk about eschatology, the Last Days, and more prophecy experts (so-called) that there has ever been.

    c)   That these are listened to, and attended, is lamentable, but true. Kim Clement, Jack van Impe, Perry Stone, Benny Hinn, and a large number of others can exist only in a vacuum of spiritual ignorance, even that Biblical Illiteracy which is so well documented in Scripture relative to these End Times (Matt. 24:4-5,11,21-24; Mark 13:5-6, 19-23; II Thess. 2:1-12; II Pet. 2:1-22; et al)

III.   BEHOLD, NOW MUST MEN COME FACE-TO-FACE WITH BIBLICAL TRUTH, EVEN PROPHETIC TRUTH

    THUS THIS BOOK!!!

    39845.jpg            39843.jpg            39841.jpg

CONFERRING NOT WITH FLESH AND BLOOD

    (Gal. 1:10-24; 6:6; Phil. 2:12-13; I John 2:27; Also: I Cor. 11-23)

    I.   ARE YOU A PREACHER?

    a)   I cannot count the number of times I have been asked this question, but they have been many; and often. Almost as many times as people inquire concerning where I attend services

    b)   Here take note of what these two queries share in common, specifically, that both deal with man made religion. The first question relates to my ordination, and where I acquired it; and the second question is usually an attempt to discover which denomination, cult, or sect I am attached to.

II.   BEHOLD, NOT ALL ARE SATISFIED WITH MY RESPONSES

    a)   And that because I answer their questions with a few questions of my own, as for instance: 1) Where did the aspostle Paul get his ordination?, 2) Where did Stephen get his anointing? 3) Who chose Barnabas to be a missionary companion of Paul?

    b)   As to my choice of a church to attend, I begin by asking my interrogators if they know the primary definition of the term church (it is, the outcalled of God, the called out of God, in modern English). This I tell them, then combine that information with a quote from Christ, Who said, When two are three are gathered together in my Name there am I in the midst of them. Some get it, some don’t

    c)   Here see, none of this is meant to indicate that this writer rejects Paul’s admonition that we forsake not the assembling of ourselves together, but rather as a springboard from which I may inform them that I do not wish to be assosciated with any group or denomination which does not teach/believe, The Uncompromising Godspel of Jesus Christ, and The Full Counsel of God. Thus, I am less concerned with how many hypocrites might be in the congregation, but rather with what is being preached from the pulpit, and what taught behind the teacher’s lectern

    d)   For this is not an area in which I am prepared to compromise, or to come to a meeting of minds. But, look around locally as I may, and I do, I cannot find one church which meets this requirement, though I find many who claim that they do. Yet, upon investigation, I am ever disappointed, and frustrated. Their attitude is that my standards are too high, and I would agree with them if I was looking for sinless perfection, which I am not, or I’d certainly need to exclude myself. On the other hand, if they don’t begin with a platform, a foundation, of Truth from the leadership, how may they proceed in a God-Acceptable manner.

III.   ALL OF WHICH LEADS TO ANOTHER CRUCIAL ISSUE

    a)   Which is the recognition on my part that the largest number of these corporations are man-made, man-run, and man-dominated. But the apostles themselves were men, and they founded churches, I am oft told, to which I give this standard response: the apostles were indeed men, but men TAUGHT by Christ, and FILLED-WITH, and LED BY, The Holy Ghost. In today’s churches, that is, over 90% of them, this is demonstrably not the case.

    b)   In fact, i have no hesitation in saying that scarce one person in a hundred who owns the Name of Christ is even in possession of the Holy Ghost, that is, who has the Holy Ghost indwelling their human vessel. For, if they did, they would be teaching and believing the right things, they would be producing fruit, and performing Biblical good works, and they would be up in spiritual arms as it were, in combating the apostasy and heresy which everywhere obtains in what passes for Christianity these days.

    III.   THUS, THIS:

    a)   In the Modern Apostate Church, it is not the Founder and Chief Cornerstone WHO most matters, but rather the institution and the corporation; and it is not the Holy Ghost Who Leads and Guides, but rather a group of men, most of whom have never really been born again.

    b)   William Law spoke to, and wrote about this issue over 250 years ago, but too few paid attention then, and even fewer are concerned today. A.W. Tozer wrote about this in 1963, in fact it was his last written article before his death, and it was certainly one of his best. It is entitled The Waning Authority of Christ in the Churches. This writer highly recommends it as well as William Law’s book, A Humble and Affectionate Address to the Clergy. Both of these works may be accessed on the internet. Read them!!!

IV.   WHAT WE DON’T NEED; WHAT WE DO NEED

    a)   We don’t need another denomination. We don’t need another programmed revival. We don’t need another ecumenical meeting where we come to a Meeting of Minds based on Biblical Reductionism. We don’t need any advice from seminaries, bible colleges, Christian television or radio, biblical scholars and prophecy experts. And we don’t need Christianity Today or 90% of the other religious rags out there to weigh in on the issue (a notable exception is The Heartbeat of the Remnant out of Ephrata, Pennsylvania. This writer does not agree in toto with their theology, but they are so head-and-shoulders above the others as to deserve honourable mention)

    b)   WHAT WE DO NEED, AND THAT, BEGINNING YESTERDAY: We need another Elijah to stand on the mountain top and say, Why halt ye between two opinions. If the Lord be God, FOLLOW HIM; We need another John The Baptist to Give Religious Men a Bath of Truth; We need another A.W. Tozer and Leonard Ravenhill; We need another Charles Spurgeon as he was during the Downgrade Controversy; We need another Dan Walker and Kathryn Smith; We need a season, a long season, or repentance, and confession, of submission and brokenness and contrition, of emptying of self, and being filled with the Holy Ghost… . AND FIRE!!!!!!!

WE NEED TO BECOME THE TWO!!!

    AUTHORITY IN PREACHING

    By A.W. Tozer

Because we are Christians who believe the inspired Word of God and because we believe that the Holy Spirit is the abiding third person of the Trinity, there should be more divine authority in our preaching ministries. A preacher of this gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ should have the authority of God upon him, so that he makes the people responsible to listen to him. When they will not listen to him, they are accountable to God for turning away from the divine Word. A preacher under God’s unction should reign from his pulpit as a king from his throne. He should not reign by law or by regulation or by man’s authority. He ought to reign by moral ascendancy! The divine authority is missing from many pulpits. We have tabby cats with their claws carefully trimmed in the seminary, so they can paw over the congregations and never scratch them at all! The Holy Spirit will sharpen the arrows of the man of God who preaches the whole counsel of God!

    My Personal Story

    December 21, 2011

    COMING FROM AFAR

    TO FOLLOW

    CHRIST

    (Mark 8: 1-8)

    My Personal Story

    I.   i WAS THE BLACK SHEEP OF THE FAMILY

    a)   Behold, Gideon was small in his own eyes: a loathsome, cowardly creature; But i was worse! for i opted to live life on my own terms, and was forever chasing rainbows. At least Gideon was labouring productively.

    b)   The apostle Paul was injurious, and a blasphemer, ever persecuting God’s people: but i was worse—for i knew to do right (both by teaching, and by my mother and uncle’s Christian examples) but i did it not. At least Paul had the plea that his unholy acts were the result of ignorance, and disbelief: i could not make this argument.

II.   YET, WHEN i CAME UNTO CHRIST, i WAS FED BY HIM, AS WERE THE MULTITUDES

    a)   And that both carnally, as He paved my Road for Service

    b)   And also spiritually, as He ever opens my eyes to Truth, to Understanding, and to spiritual discernment

    c)   Yet here attend: i did not come at all in the initial sense, but was Drawn of God by the Holy Ghost at The Father’s Bidding (John 6:44-45); and Called of God in a most unlikely environment (Romans 8:8:29-30)

III.   AND NOW my PROCLAMATION UNTO YOU: COME UNTO HIM!

    a)   All ye who are weary and heavy laden (Matt. 11:28-30); and all who are hungry and thirsty for righteousness (Matt. 5:6)

    b)   For ye shall indeed find rest for your souls; and ye shall indeed be filled: filled with the Holy Ghost and with Fire!!!

    c)   He did it for a Chief of Sinners like me; and He Can Do It for You!

    d)   Have you heard His Call? Submit, Surrender: and move towards Him

    e)   Do you see His Outstretched Hand, Hidden in Open View? Others cannot. But Can YOU???

    TAKE IT!

                   TAKE IT!!

                                  TAKE IT!!!

I KNOW THERE IS A LACK:

    AND

I KNOW THERE IS A HUNGER

    (Amos 8:1-13, esp. vs. 11-12)

    I.   I LISTEN HERE: I LISTEN THERE

    a)   But I scarce do hear it anywhere

    b)   What, you say? EVEN THIS:

The 777 Spirit and Truth of God’s Word

    c)   Rarely on Christian TV, and radio; rarer still in local pulpits and Sunday School classes; and rarest of all is to hear God’s Word discussed (either correctly OR heretically, among the general public): OR BY THEY WHO CALL THEMSELVES BELIEVERS OUT IN THE PUBLIC ARENA.

II.   YET I DO SEE SIGNS OF HUNGER

    a)   As when i witness the Scriptures and someone nearby will interrupt me to tell me how truly rare it is to see someone carrying a Bible (outside of a church, that is); and even more rare to hear the Word of God proclaimed, outside of a pulpit.

    b)   They observe me as i give a prayer before eating, and say they are moved by the witness this provides; and also the memories it brings back to their minds as they remember these gestures from the long ago past.

    c)   Sometimes they overhear me quoting the Bible, and will ask where the passage is located.

    d)   I’m always emotionally and spiritually moved by these responses: BUT saddened by them as well; and that because of our great loss, and the great hunger which yet exists, if only by a small minority, to see, to hear, and to know the passion which the Word of God can engender in His people (or in the sinner when the Holy Ghost doth move them, and opens their eyes and hearts: and brings their spirits unto life!!!)

    Picture of a Prophet

    By Leonard Ravenhill

The prophet in his day is fully accepted of God and totally rejected by men.

Compromise is not known to him.

He is a seer who comes to lead the blind.

He lives in the heights of God and comes into the valley with a thus saith the Lord.

          He lives in splendid isolation.

His message is repent, be reconciled to God or else… !

He is friendless while living and famous when dead.

He eats daily the bread of affliction while he ministers, but he feeds the Bread of Life to those who listen.

    He announces, pronounces, and denounces!

He has a heart like a volcano and his words are as fire.

He faces God before he faces men, but he is self-effacing.

He hides with God in the secret place, but he has nothing to hide in the marketplace.

He is ordained of God but disdained by men. But the greatest famine of all in this nation at this given moment is a FAMINE OF THE HEARING OF THE WORDS OF GOD (Amos 8:11).

GOD’S MEN ARE IN HIDING UNTIL THE DAY OF THEIR SHOWING FORTH. They will come. The prophet is violated during his ministry, but he is vindicated by history.

There is a terrible vacuum in evangelical Christianity today. The missing person in our ranks is the prophet. The man with a terrible earnestness. The man totally otherworldly. The man rejected by other men, even other good men, because they consider him too austere, too severely committed, too negative and unsociable.

Let him be as plain as John the Baptist.

Let him for a season be a voice crying in the wilderness of modern theology and stagnant churchianity.

    Let him be self-abasing, nonself-seeking, nonself-projecting, nonself-righteous, nonself-glorying, nonself-promoting.

Let him say nothing that will draw men to himself but only that which will move men to God.

God have mercy! Send us PROPHETS!

    ABOUNDING DELUSION:

    HERESY MASQUERADING AS RIGHTEOUSNESS

    (Isaiah 29:8-24; Amos 8:11-14; I Cor. 1:26-31; II Thess. 2:1-12)

    I.   NEVER MORE LEARNING: NEVER LESS KNOWLEDGE (II Tim. 3:7)

    a)   More seminaries, and Bible Colleges, but less Spirit and Truth in them; or emerging from them, by their graduates, and their learned treatises.

    b)   More commentaries, and teachers, but less real milk (beginning milk, or sincere milk)

    c)   More reference sources (Strong’s/Smith’s/Vines/MacArthur’s/et al), but decreasingly less of spiritual worth and value

    d)   Thus, human knowledge has increased exponentially (Daniel 12:4), but godly wisdom has diminished

II.   NEVER MORE BIBLES: NEVER LESS UNDERSTANDING

    a)   Bibles almost everywhere, but little acceptation of the Holy Ghost as Leader and Guide to understanding the Word of God.

    b)   More Christian television and radio, but less unlocking the Truth and Depth of Scripture

    c)   More evangelism and missionary activity, but fewer true conversions

    d)   More Sunday School classes, but less impartation of Biblical Understanding

III.   NEVER MORE DENOMINATIONS, CULTS, NON- DENOMINATIONS, MOVEMENTS, AND HOME CHURCHING: BUT NEVER LESS TRUE REVELATION AND SPIRITUAL WISDOM

    a)   More elders, deacons, and presbyters, but not enough True Spiritual Babes

    b)   More sermons, but less spiritual content

    c)   Much false and tainted milk of the Gospel, but little Sincere Milk, and almost no True Meat

    d)   Too many wise, not enough foolish; too many strong and able, not enough weak and incompetent; too many elevated to title and acclaim, too few humble, base, and despised (as Paul who became the filth and refuse of the world, that those he sought to convert might be more readily accepted and honoured)

    e)   Too many church members, not enough True Ekklesia (Called out of God)

    f)   Too many Thomas Moore’s and John Calvin’s, not enough William Tyndale’s, and George Whitefield’s

    g)   Too many Oral Robert’s, Benny Hinns, Paul Crouch’s, Joel Osteen’s, Charles Stanley’s, and John Hagee’s, but not enough A.W. Tozer’s, Leonard Ravenhill’s, and Dan Walker’s.

    ABOUNDING DECEPTION:

    KNOWING NOT THE GREATER ENEMIES

    (Pro. 14:12; 16:25; Matt. 24:4-5, 11, 22-24; Mark 13:5-6, 20-22; II Thess. 2:8-12; II Pet. @;1-3, 13; Rev. 13:13-14; et al)

    I.   THE POLITICAL LEFT; THE POLITICAL RIGHT

    a)   The Liberal (and the Liberal Agenda: welfare; abortion rights; gay rights; government giveaways; over-regulation; et al); the ACLU, explosion in litigation

    b)   The Conservatives (and the Conservative Agenda: tax breaks for the rich; deregulation, even in areas, like the EPA, where regulation affects public health; low minimum wage; religious right; family values; polluting the environment for jobs and capitalist profit; supporting/propping up dictatorships).

II.   OBAMA AS antichrist; The Pope; Radical Muslims; and MORE (See Their Allegations and Laments):

    a)   Obama is the antichrist; he is destroying America with his tax and spend mentality; he’s too friendly with the Muslims; his health coverage legislation is a disaster; et al

    b)   The Pope is antichrist; the Catholic Church is the Whore of Babylon

    c)   No prayer in schools; no ten commandments posted in public places; Christmas is too commercialized; And more enemies: Russia, China, Iran, the European Union; et al

III.   HERE SEE THE GREATER ENEMIES (WHICH ARE TOO OFT IGNORED)

    a)   America as antichrist: see now it’s evil values (greed; lust; looking out for #1; respect for all religions; sexual exploitation of women; The apostate Declaration of Independence; Politics as the answer; Capitalism and the pursuit of wealth is good; pleasure is good; television/ radio/ the computer/ the internet/filthy TV programming/ fixation with entertainment/ the Hollywood and Madison Avenue Lifestyle and the value system which accompanies them

    b)   The Apostate Church: The Whore of Babylon

    c)   Both denominationalism; and Unity Based on Biblical Reductionism

    d)   False Doctrine/False Gospels/False evangelism/ False tongues and prophecies/false missionary activity; false theologies (Preterism/Dominion Theology/Kingdom Now/ Paradigm Shifts/ Pre-Tribulation Rapture/et al);

    e)   Rejection of servanthood, true discipleship, humility, self-sacrifice, good works, true and on-going repentance, obedience to Scripture, of the Early Jerusalem Church Communal Model; and more
